That night, Kirishima and Denki stayed the night. Inko saw how upset her son was just by looking at him. She couldn't thank Denki and Kirishima enough for being there for him when he needed a friend.
"So, you like Crimson Riot?" Midoriya asked as he started writing in his notebook.
"Yea." Kirishima chuckled. "He's so manly, and just so awesome." Midoriya watched Kirishima and his smile lessened, Denki noticed too.
"Hey," Midoriya and Denki both said together while their hands rested on Kirishima's shoulders.
"You know, I think your pretty manly bro!" Denki said with a smile.
"Yea! Denki is right! But your even better than that, you're- umm." Midoriya thought to himself for a moment. "Beautycool! Yea your beautycool." Denki chuckled at Midoriya's new word, so did Kirishima with a new, light shade of pink on his cheeks.
"That's a pretty awesome word, I think it'll be one of my new lines." Midoriya smiled again.
"Make sure to credit me when your a famous hero." The broccoli boy winked and chuckled even more, failing to notice the darker pink on Kirishima's cheeks. 'He's really cute all happy like this' Kiri thought.
It had been maybe an hour of the boys just talking when Inko walked into the room, her eyes wide and her face covered with a smile.
"Izuku? Please come outside for me." Midoriya looked confused and signaled for the boys to stay put. Once Midoriya followed his mother, Denki and Kirishima looked at each other confused. Suddenly Midoriya let out a loud scream, sending Kirishima and Denki running immediately.
"What happened?!" Denki yelled, electricity glowing around his arms.
"Are you hurt?!" Kirishima's arms hardened as he looked frantically. On the floor sat Midoriya, his mother standing beside him. In the door way stood a man with white hair. His red eyes pierced threw Kirishima and Denki, his large fram intimidating.
"I see you have friends over my boy, I'm happy you have friends." The man spoke, his voice surprisingly low and calming.
"Who is this guy?" Denki asked. Both boys turned off their quirks as they looked at Midoriya.
"That's my husband." Inko sniffed. "And Izuku's father."
The three boys continued to stare at the large man as he walked in.
"May I speak with my wife and son alone?" The man looked coldly at Kirishima and Denki and he closed t he door.
"Actually l-let them stay please. I'm still a little dazed from earlier.." Midoriya stood up, and though it was second nature, Kirishima and Denki stepped to his side.
"What's the matter Zuzu?" Inko's eyes widened along with her smile at the man.
"Y-you remember his nickname?" Midoriya looked a little surprised, but the name brought a small smile to his face.
"Boys, this really has Midoriya's father. Hitoshi (I hope that's spelled right) Midoriya." Inko spoke. Hitoshi bowed with a smile.
"I work a lot, so I'm never home or have time for calls. But now I can visit my son."
Denki couldn't shake a weird feeling he had. Something was off about this Hitoshi guy. For a split second, Denki swore he saw Hitoshi's look change. Like a glitched picture.
"Well, how about we all sit down for dinner? I made so much, everyone can have some~!" Inko said, her tone full of joy. They all sat at the table. Inko's face was fixed with a permanent smile.
"So, you must be all training to be hero's right?" Hitoshi's tone was strangely low as he spoke.
"Well, we want to be hero's.." Denki's head tilted down as he spoke. All three boy's tried to keep their smiles on their faces.
"So son, what's your quirk? I wasn't there when it should have showed up." Hitoshi's eyes became fixated on his son.
"I-I don't have one.." Midoriya sat his bowl of rice on the table.
"So, do you have any friends at school?" Hitoshi's mirrored Midoriya's moves.
"N-no I don't. They all hate me a-actually.." Inko's smile faded.
"But sweetie, you've never told me about this." Midoriya fought with himself not to cry.
"I'm sorry...I just-"
"Your being a little cry baby and a lier." Hitoshi said, cutting off Midoriya.
"W-what?" Midoriya looked at his father as he started to shake. Kirishima and Denki both almost chocked on their food too.
"You heard me. You lied to your mother, and clearly your not standing up for yourself. Your being weak, no wonder a quirkless boy like you is getting bullied." Kirishima and Denki felt their blood boil with pure rage.
" I KNOW THAT!" Izuku slammed his hands on the table and stood up. Everyone but Hitoshi seemed taken aback by this sudden outburst.
" I KNOW I'M WEAK! I'M A NOBODY! A FAILURE!" Midoriya's lips quivered as tears rolled down his cheeks.
"BUT I'M STILL A DAMN HUMAN BEING!" Midoriya ran to his room, slamming the door behind him.
