Opening his eyes our blue haired companion, Tatsuya could be seen opening his with a startle, staring at an unfamiliar ceiling. Leaving him in a daze, 'Huh… so that really happened?' questioned the blue-haired protagonist, puzzled as he sat up from his bed, he noticed he was wearing what he assumed to be an academy uniform. Quickly lifting his head, he began taking his surroundings in one by one a small desk could be seen in the small corner, a single bed which he currently occupies and a small bookshelf. Quickly taking note of a small piece of paper neatly folded sitting on the desk, standing up he reaches for it and unfurls it, slowly taking in its contents
'To Tatsuya, take this apartment as my last token of apology. I hope you and your friends enjoy this new world to its fullest, live life without regret.'
The note was small and wasn't signed by anyone, but Tatsuya could guess who it was from, 'I guess she really does feel guilty about the whole situation….'
However, he quickly noticed that there was a small addition to the note at the bottom of the page, 'Ps once you get a moment you should check on your neighbors, I'm sure you'll like my very last surprise.'
Taking the note and stuffing it into his uniforms chest pocket he stood up, stifling a yawn as he stretched his arms over his head before turning towards his apartments door, turning the knob leading towards the outside world and taking his first step, into his new and possibly exciting life.
~Pov Akira~
With sudden movement our blonde haired friend shot up from his original laying position, quickly looking all over the place, "Wow she wasn't lying!" Said Akira as his eyes sparkled in marvel as he saw the foreign room lying before him, not bothering to take his surroundings in any longer he located the front door and bolted for it, turning the knob and stepping out into the world he had tried very hard to convince the small goddess to send them to. As soon as he opened the door, he met two other familiar faces stepping out of their respective apartments, which caused his face to bloom into an ecstatic smile.
'I can't wait to experience this new world….'
~Pov Kurayama~
Opening his eyes Kurayama quickly processed the situation he found himself in, 'I still cannot fathom that gods are real….' He sighed to himself as he pushed his glasses back on to his face, 'this goes against everything science stands for!'
Kurayama then found himself standing alone in his room, checking every nook and cranny, powering the stove on and off, and checking the water temperature, ensuring there were no hidden surprises lurking about, one can never be too careful after all.
He then sat back onto the lone bed and opened the hand written note he had found on the desk during his search
Reading the contents caused him to wear a wry grin as he quickly stuffed the note into his pocket, he stood from his position and headed towards the door and out he went
~Pov Narrator~
"You guys! We were placed right next to each other huh?" Exclaimed Akira in an excited tone, as he walked towards his two other neighbors, in the small hall way that was located in their apartment building, wrapping his arm around Kurayama's shoulder as he dragged the annoyed black haired boy towards their third friend, a happy smile on all three of their faces
"I guess this is the final surprise the goddess wrote to us of?" Asked Kurayama as he was able to free himself from his blonde friends grasp, fixing his glasses back on to his face, earning an agreeing nod from Tatsuya, Akira then began rambling on about how awesome their situation was albeit a little too loud
Their small little gathering had drawn the attention from their next door neighbor who quickly stepped out sporting an annoyed glare at being woken from her sleep so early in the morning. Seeing the girl the trio was momentarily shocked before Tatsuya stepped before the group bowing his head in apology
"Sorry about the noise, my friend here can get a bit excited sometime." Said Tatsuya
Which earned a small huff and nod from the girl as she quickly went back inside, to presumably continue her sleep
Before the two could recover from their shock the blue haired boy quickly shoved them in to Akira's apartment, which happened to be the nearest to the group
The two quickly returned to normal before the excitement from Akira returned full force, but to not allow their friend to ruin their cover with his loud voice, the duo of Kurayama and Tatsuya quickly shushed the boy, one of them putting their hand over his mouth before he could shout
After noting the boy had finally calmed did Tatsuya remove his hand and allowed Akira to speak freely
"Hey…. So, am I crazy or have we seen those black stockings and white headband before?" He asked in a hushed tone, his eyes beckoning the two for an answer
"I believe it was from that one anime you showed us… something boring girlfriend?" Replied Kurayama in an equally hushed tone
"Yeah, so I didn't see anything incorrectly…" Said Akira, "That means she really did cave to my pleas!"
"Right… you were the one to negotiate our world…." Cut in Tatsuya, "So can you explain what kind of world we were sent to?"
Kurayama nodded in agreement towards this question which prompted the three to sit down on the floor and engage in a long overdue conversation
"So, as I was talking to the goddess Gaia over where we should be sent, I noticed there were many anime worlds to choose from, I couldn't really come to a conclusion as to where to send us to…. As all of them were really good choices!" Explained the blonde, "So after a couple of minutes of trying to decide I had the most brilliant idea, what if there was a world that contained more than one set of anime characters!" Akira finished off with a triumphant smug look on his face, one that seemed to say, 'praise me for what I've done'
"So, you think the goddess actually sent us to one of these?" Asked Tatsuya asked, which prompted Akira to nod his head viciously
"Well… I won't argue that possibility as this one can be persuasive as all hell when he wants to be." Said Kurayama, "But we currently have only seen one person from those anime you watched, we should hold off on the excitement until we can prove there are more"
"Still, even if this isn't a 'mash up world' as Akira has said, would it matter if it wasn't?" Asked Tatsuya as he gave a bored look towards his friend
"No, you don't understand, when I said that all the worlds looked enticing to join, I meant it!" Said Akira as he stood to show his excitement, "If this is a world with countless variety, which means I can finally face off against Aomine in a one on one basketball game, you can go head to head with student council pres. himself!" He continued pointing towards Kurayma, who's eyes sparkled at the idea that someone could compete with him when it came to book smarts
"And you… well you can… I'm sure you'll have fun nonetheless." Said Akira as he pointed to his other friend, not really knowing what would get the blue haired boy out of his lazy personality but stayed positive no matter. He would help his friend flourish in to what ever he wanted, as long as no one was hurt. Which caused Tatsuya to shrug as he slowly leans back and rest on the bed side
"Well…" Said Kurayama after a moment of silence, "The idea of someone being able to compare to me when it comes to studying and book smarts is enticing, I do hope this world has this person you speak of.
"There is only one way to find out!" Exclaimed the blonde as he hurriedly pulled Tatsuya up from his sitting position, "We have to go touch grass"
"Noooooo…." Cried out Tatsuya as he struggled to free himself from his friends gorilla like grip, "I was hoping to maybe take a nap…."
"Yeah, buddy that's not happening, we have literally just been reincarnated. I am not letting you rot inside like in our past life!" Said Akira as he hauled his friend out the front door, leaving Kurayama to quickly follow behind, smiling at the interaction of his two best friends, this wasn't the first nor will it be the last time they had to force Tatsuya outside
