Chapter 31 – Running away from elves.

(So far so good.)

(These elves attack are barely hitting me thanks to the building.)

(But now I freaking woke up the whole settlement with whole me being chased inside their settlement.)

(These guys cannot attack properly because of the building and civilians inside them.)

(Not only that, but I'm faster than them. At this rate I should be able to leave them behind.)

(Should I then go back into the forest?)

(I'm already quiet deep inside their settlement.)

(Not only that, what if they have something like cavalry? Too risky.)

(I have to go through this entire settlement in order to gain enough distance from the purpures.)

(I know its stupid and all, since all of these elves will see the "Unknown Monster" A.K.A "ME" running in their settlement.)

(Well, maybe they will blame these guys? Since they chased me into their settlement.)

In the deerwolf path, 3 elves stood in his way that were carrying swords.)

(Fuck. These bastards want to block my way.)

(I guess I have to kill them-)

The elves that stood in the deerwolf way tired attacking the monster with their swords, but deerwolf created an vail of leaves around it, scaring elves and blocking their view.

The confused elves didn't knew what happened and before they realized, the deerwolf had already leaped past them and got away.

(I almost killed them.)

(If I would have killed them, then these guys would be more willing on chasing me around since I would be consider an "Dangerous Monster".)

(Right now, I don't to fuking deal with an angry elf mob, especially after getting hit with those arrows of theirs! It cut through me without much problem!)

(I cannot make elves my enemies right now, so I have to avoid killing any elves or creating any big damage to their settlement myself.)

Suddenly a giant rock flew at the deerwolf, forcing it to dodge the incoming attack by jumping to the side.

(What the hell are you people doing?! We are inside your settlement! Why would you-)

(A monster made out of rocks? Is that a golem?)

(Huh. So, golems are the thing in this world?)

(But how do they work? Are they like machines? Or maybe they are just puppet controlled with magic? Or maybe both.)

(Why the fuck the elves are doing?! Why the fuck they are letting this thing going on rampage?!)

(Aren't they far more dangerous than me, a monsters just running in their settlement?!)

(But at this rate one of those rocks will hit me!)

(I got to run faster!)

Deerwolf began running at much faster speed, dodging and leaving behind both golems and elves behind.

(Good! I managed to leave those bastards behind!)

(But using all those skills uses both mana and stamina.)

(I got to slow down.)

(I could probably run with that speed for bit longer, but I will end up exhausting myself too much.)

(Still, I managed to make this bastards eat my dust.)

(But I'm now even deeper into their settlement.)

(I really need to get out of here.)

(The best option for me is to keep heading the direction I planned to take after splitting with that elven girl, but for how long I will run inside their settlement for?)

(I did manage to leave behind those pursuers and its middle of a night, so I doubt they have an armed group ready to deal with me right now.)

(Still, staying in this settlement for too long is far too dangerous.)

(Weapons that can harm me.)

(Man made monsters.)

(And even spell casters.)

(I will get one sidedly killed if I try fighting them.)

(Not only that, but that elf guy saw me even though I was hiding. It was exact same situation as before with that priest girl noticing me while I was hiding.)

(I don't know how they discover me. Maybe they can detect mana or have a detection skill.)

(I need to get away as far as possible from this settlement, if I want to stay alive or they may end up finding me again.)

I've continue running through the elven settlement for quite a bit.

I don't know if this place was a city or town, but it was quite big.

There were some elves trying to get in my way, but I managed to avoid them.

There were also some golems, but they were just straight up annoying with them throwing rocks.

Honestly, why the fuck they using this golems in the first place?! Just look how much damage they are doing to you!

Wait. Maybe they are somewhat using them as replaced for spirits?

That would make a bit of sense and all.

Maybe those golems are something like prototypes or something and that is why they are so "Berserk"?

But still… Why in the bloody hell they would use it! They are doing more destruction than literally protecting anything!

Wait. Those people are dumb.

They got greedy and betrayed spirits and got bitch slapped hard for it.

So, them using those stupid golems like idiot is kind of saying how stupid they are.

Wow…. They are really ruining the isekai image the elves had in my previous world.

Are all elves like that in this world??

Anyway, I continue running without rest and after some time passed, I finally managed to leave the elven settlement.

However, I did not stopped running.

I needed to get as far as possible from that place.

I ran through the entire night until the sun has risen.

I don't think I have anybody chasing after me right now and I had already left the ward range.

But I cannot be too sure.

So, I continue running.

In the end, I ended up moving my self quiet far away from settlement.

However, the interesting thing was that I was still in the forest?

I though I would run outside the forest or something, but nope?

Just how big is this place?

Anyway, I think I'm safe for now.

But what should I do now?

Should I leave the forest and look for new place?

But I really don't want to…. I still need to train and develop all different things and do a lot of different experiments.

But those elves… They are too dangerous.

I managed to escape thanks to using their own buildings against them, but now that I'm in open space, I maybe fucked.

I ended up getting hit several times with their arrows and spells.

Only grazes, but I still took a little bit of damage.

What if I instead got hit directly with their attacks?

Fuck.

I don't know if they will chase after me or not, but a direct fight even with some of their weakest guys that may use this type of equipment could be very dangerous to me.

My hide and plant body became tougher thanks to my experiments and training, but they still wounded me.

(But once I become strong enough, I may come back and devour every single one of you fucker, just to see how elven meat taste like.)

Deerwolf sprouted a root tentacle from its body and hit the arrow that was about to hit him.

(Seriously? Orcs?)

(For fuck's sake. I finally stopped running and wanted to catch a breath, but a motherfucking orcs just had to show up.)
