We walked.
And walked.
And walked some more.
The royal district is a grassy field followed by the occasional house. There are roads that intersect at specific points with a water fountain at each of them, but other than that it's like we're in some insane purgatory. The only thing that is telling me that we're moving forward is the fact that the castle is coming closer and closer into view.
It's not like these fields are bad! I actually like the flowers and grass that are everywhere. It's a nice and flat place where one could very easily have a picnic and forget about the rest of the world if they chose. It's just also utterly insane that this place is so full of nothing that it can stretch on for so long.
