Chapter Five R-18

They collected all of the evidence of the attack last night and also had made molds of the tracks they found, Leon's brother wasn't much help since he clearly didn't see the thing but he was hospitalized saying it was a monster.

Rae was looking at the molds of the large foot print also the claw marks a few feet away in a couple of trees, it must have been after it killed the first boy since that's the only blood they found on that tree.

Mikey didn't even know he had four large claw marks on the back of his clothes when he ran away, it missed him by a inch or he would probably be dead right now. Alexis was helping Rae in the lab going through different hair they found in the nearby bushes and trees but it came back just off local forest animals...

" oh have you got the things from the Mayweather case off your dad " Rae asked looking in a microscope trying to identify some black substance she found near one of the bodies.

" I'll get it tonight, father said he is going crazy since the old stories remind him of his current cases and he isn't looking too well here lately." Alexis said when Leon came in with a couple of hunting cameras that the locals use when hunting deer, Rae quickly gets the sd cards out plugging them in her computer. Several screens pop up showing the bonfire in the distance on one screen and they could see something walking on all fours and transitions itself upright on two continuing toward the boys who are being boys.

" I can't make out its features only that it looks to be over eight ft tall and has massive muscle tone, also elongated ears and jaw...the darkness isn't helping since the light from the bonfire messed with the night vision." " it seems to be toying with them, look right here this camera shows the blonde seeing something that scared him " Alexis said watching the boys behavior as she catches a gleem coming from where the boy first started looking as she blows it up showing eyes staring back.

" well I guess dad needs to call in the game wardens who are close you got the ones who are at outpost 11 and the ones at sixteen, if he calls one I'd rather it be eleven at least it's not only made up of men who think they can treat women like objects. Rae said texting the sheriff who to contact with a reply that he'll bring both teams into town, they look over a few more things and head to Alexis's work to pick up some things from her room since they canceled school today.

Jake sat at the table that Blair did as he starts playing on his phone sending messages to his other girl, Blair kept stealing glances at Riley which she has done all day and half the time she is glaring cause of the girls around Riley.

Both of the girls mentally roll their eyes when the guy smiles flirtily with the both of them, the other man was not as flashy and scrawnier than the handsome man.

" we are fine and yourself Mr. Wheeler" Alexis said while pouring two cops of coffee, she hands Rae one and give each other a knowing look to just leave before doushe asks them out.

" hey I have been meaning to ask you both out to dinner, my friend seen you with Alexis and is dying to know you" Mr. Wheeler said with a friendly smile, Rae was tempted since she hasn't been out in months for a date even longer not getting laid.
