It was the sound of the rush in of the breeze that distracted them all from the tension. As Kyle drove he glanced back at David who looked bloody, he had his blood on his uniform and bruises formed on his face, he remained focused on the window the worst thoughts in the world going through his mind.

He couldn't help them though. He felt like the worst person in the world. Emma's betrayal really shook him beyond what he thought he could bear. He was in so much pain in the inside.

He held back the tears and kept pushing them back, nor wanting to humiliate himself.

"What happened to you David?" Kyle asked. The boy looked too trashed for his liking and he was more than sure he hadn't gotten in an intentional fight or the school would've informed him of the out burst.

David lifted his eyes slowly to the rear mirror where he caught Kyle's gaze.
