I wondered where my mobile phone was. I'm still very sleepy. Who called me this early? When I held my mobile phone, I opened my left eye and looked at the caller. Unknown number? Who the heck is this? I pressed the answer button, and I answered it while still feeling drowsy. I closed my eyes again as I answered in a groggy tone.

"Hello?"

"Rise and shine, sweety babe! Good morning!" says the one on the other line. My forehead creased.

"Who are you?"

"Oh! You don't recognize my voice? How sad! A goddess named Lexxeignne Morales forgot the most handsome man of all? Ah, sweety babe, you’re so cruel!"

Who is this weirdo? Tsk. Did he disturb my good sleep just because of his early tantrums? The heck! Motherf*cker!

"Motherf*cker! Who the f*ck are you?! Do you disturb my good sleep for f*cking nonsense talk? Tsk. Come here and I'm gonna kick your ass off! You asshole!" I retorted.

"Relax! Sweety babe! It's me, your one and only Aki! I apologize for disturbing your sleep! Sorry! I just have something important to say,"

"What do you want, asshole? I'm gonna rip off your head if it's not important. Got it? Now, spill it!" I got up in my bed. Great. I am no longer sleepy.

"Hmm. I'll just have to say that... Lexxeignne Morales, sweety babe, I love you! I love you! I love you!"

*toot ** toot ** toot*

Motherf*cker! I feel my face heated up and I'm sure I am as red as a tomato! What an asshole! Sh*t! Suddenly, I covered my face with a pillow and groaned. Damn!

Get ready for me when I see you, Aki!

I got up and went to the bathroom. As I showered, I couldn't help but remember what happened this week at school. It's Saturday and means no school. Finally, I can relax a bit.

"Wahhhh! OMG! Look, Lexxy baby!" Mara immediately showed her cellular phone. I looked at the photo on the phone and my eyes widened. My face flushed in embarrassment. Sh*t! It's me holding hands with the jerk while running away from the crowd. And what the heck! There's even a caption; 'AKILEX FOREVER', 'Are they a thing? Waaahhh'.

My gosh! And what's worse is that the other photo has a caption of 'They're so sweet! Are they dating now? Ahh, can't wait to see them together! They're a perfect couple!'. In the photo, the jerk almost kissed me. That kiss would have happened if I hadn't run away. Waaahhh! My face turned even redder.

Damn to whoever took a photo of us!

"Lex, someone gave it to you." My classmate said while carrying a bouquet of red rose flowers with a teddy bear. I will not be going to accept them, but because of my crazy friends, I accepted them.

"Waahhh, where does this come from?" Mara chimed with excitement. Sam looked at the card tied in the bouquet of roses.

"OMG! It's from Aki! Waahhh!"

"Read it!" Andrea said.

"I'll read it!" Camila snatched the card from Sam and read loudly. "As I laid my eyes on you, I just can't take my eyes off you. When I say, I like you. I mean it. Can I court you, Lexxeignne Morales? - Aki. Kyaaahhhhh! I'm so over the moon!"

"Kyaaahhh! AKILEX FOREVER!"

What the hell?!

As I leaped down on my motorbike, a smiling face greeted me.

"Good morning, sweety babe!" Akihiro said with a wide smile on his lips. Tsk. I walked past him, but he caught up with me and walked beside me.

"Where’s my good morning and kiss?" he said while grinning. I stopped walking and faced him with an annoyed expression. He just smiled like a dog.

"Shut up! Kiss the cement instead! Tsk. You’re annoying!"

"Why the cement? Why not with your lips?" he said while pouting his lips. Damn! I looked at him sharply, but he didn’t budge.

"Ah, so you want my fist to smash your lips instead?" I said and was about to punch him, but he ran towards the college department while laughing out loud.

"I love you, sweety babe!" he shouted with a wave. Tsk.

"Uyyyy! Someone is in a good mood! Hehehe," I turned to see the crazy girls with annoying grins.

"What are you talking about? I’m not," I denied.

"Shesh! Stop pretending! You're smiling, so you can’t deny it! Hehehe," tsk. I touched my lips and... sh*t! I was really smiling. It embarrassed me quickly.

I’m done showering and wiping my wet body with a towel. What do I do now? Tsk. How about going to the mall? That's right. It’s boring here at home. I'll just go shopping instead.

I walk out of the bathroom and get inside my walk-in closet. I wore pants and a t-shirt. I didn’t put any make-up on my face. Face powder is fine. I also don't use lipstick since my lips were red so there’s no need to put any. I grabbed my sling bag. Money check. Cellphone check. Card check. Ok. Let’s go!

When I went downstairs, I went to the kitchen. I saw Mother Fe making my breakfast.

I embraced her and greeted her. "Good morning, Mother Fe!" then kissed the old lady on the cheek.

"Good morning too, Lex. I’m almost done with your breakfast, just wait a little longer." She says.

“Hmm! What did you make for me?"

"Your favorite breakfast. Oh, it's done." Mother Fe said and served in front of me. It’s bacon, hotdog, and sunny side-up egg. Yummy!

"Thank you, Mother Fe! Come eat with me!"

"It’s fine. You'll eat first. Looks like you have to go somewhere. Delfin and I will eat together later." She replied while mixing my milk. Delfin is the security guard. He also stays here.

I smiled at Mother Fe. Since she got here, we seem to get along well.

"All right. Well, I'm just going to the mall, mother Fe!" I said, smiling.

After eating and preparing to leave, I went to my car, then called Samantha first.

She answered on the second ring.

"Hello! Lexxy baby! What’s up? Wahhhh I missed you!" she said in a hyper tone.

"Yah! Sammy baby! Don't yell!"

"Sarrey! Oh, what do you need, dear princess? Hehe,"

"I'm going to the mall. Wanna come?"

"Really?! Wahhhh! Sure, sure! I’ll go prepare!"

*toot*toot*toot*

She hung up on me! Wow, she’s really excited about going out with me. I started the ignition and left the house. Sam's house is only three blocks away. When I arrived in front of their house, I did not get out of the car. I just honked the horn. Later on, Sammy ran out of the house in a hurry. I unlocked the passenger door for her. I looked at her and she was wearing pants and sleeveless. She looks sexy. Hmph! She opened the door and entered.

"Good morning, Lexxy baby! Wahhhh! You're so pretty!" She greeted me with a wide smile on her lips.

"Likewise, Sammy baby! And please put your seatbelt on." she nodded with a humming and I drove the car away.

Sammy kept talking the entire trip until we arrived at the mall. She’s really hyper.

When we enter the mall, all eyes are on us. I just ignore them.

"Wow! Dude! They're beautiful!"

"Witwiw! Chix, bro!"

"OMG! It’s Lexxeignne and Samantha!"

"They're really pretty!"

"Sam looks pretty without her glasses!"

"Yeah, she's beautiful with glasses on. But she's even more beautiful without glasses! Waahhh,"

"But Lex is still more beautiful! Eh!"

Sam and I just laughed. Are we that famous? Suddenly, Sam's cellphone rang. She answered it immediately while smiling.

"Hello?" Her face suddenly scrunched up and adjusted the phone from her ear.

"You're not obviously so hyper, no? Yeah! We're here in the mall. Uh! Really?! Ok. We'll wait here. Ok. Bye." She hung up the call immediately and looked at me with a smile.

"It’s the girls. They're going to come here."

"Really?! Ok, that's good. So, this is girl bonding?!"

"Sort of. Let's go to the department store first," I hummed.

When we entered the department store, we immediately went to the women's wear section.

I didn't see anyone behind, so we collided and fell to the floor.

"Oh, no! Are you okay?! Sorry!" I asked her and helped her pick up the things she bought that were dropped on the floor.

"I'm fine! I'm sorry too! I didn't look — Lex?!" the girl said, and we were both so surprised while looking at each other.

"A-Ayenn?!" I whispered. It's Precious Ayenn Vergara. My bestfriend ever since I can’t remember.

"It’s you! My god! I miss you so much, Lex!" she said and hugged me. It surprised me, so it caught me off guard. She pulled away when I didn't hug her back. But she still put a smile on her face.

"How are you? My god! Where were you? It's almost 3 years since you disappeared! We are so worried about you!"

"I'm fine, Ayenn." She held my hand.

"Uncle and Aunty were so worried about you. They were looking for you 'till now, Lex." I looked at her blankly.

"They were looking for me? I doubt that, Ayenn. They never cared about my existence at all." I said bitterly.

"No, Lex, they cared about you! Don't say that!"

"If they really cared about me, they would never hate me to death. It’s enough, Ayenn! I don't want to talk about them."

"Lexxy baby! Look at this!" Sam called me. I turned my attention to her. She approached me and showed me the dress she was holding.

"Waahhh! It'll look good on you! Fit it in quickly!" Sam pulled me into the fitting room. I turned to Ayenn and mouthed 'sorry' to her. She gave me a small, sad smile.

Sam pushed me inside the fitting room. I put on the dress Sam picked up. It’s an off shoulder blue dress. I walked out of the fitting room and Sam's eyes widened.

"Eh! I'm right! It looks good on you! Buy it now!" I couldn’t help but chuckle at Sam's reaction. I went back to the fitting room and put back my clothes. When I came out, Sam was talking to someone on the phone.

"Yes. Lexxy baby and I are here in the department store. Hurry up! Ok. Bye."

"Is that Camila?" I ask.

"Yes! They are here! Let's find them." I paid for the dress first and then we looked for Camila and the others.

They saw us immediately.

"Sammy baby! Lexxy baby!" Sam and I turned around and saw them waving. We waved back.

We greeted each other, and Mara hugged me. "Waahhh! I miss you, Lexxy baby!" Mara uttered.

"Just Lexxy baby? How about me, Mara baby?" Sam said while pouting. Pft.

"Wahhh, of course I miss you too, Sammy baby! Hehehe," Mara said and hugged Sam too.

"There!" We laughed.

We spent the entire afternoon walking around the mall. We spent more time in the World of Fun. Damn! I think it drains my energy!

Around 4 pm, we left World of Fun. We ate at Jollibee. People are staring at us weirdly with our excessive noise. We look like a bunch of children right now, but we don’t care, anyway. But they just smile at us.

When we came out of Jollibee, I didn’t expect to see a familiar face.

"L-Lex?!" I was just looking at the boy with a perplexed expression. Before I could utter a word, he hugged me. I gasped at the sudden contact. I heard Sam, and it pissed the others off. He is Zenno Baron, my childhood friend. Also, my childhood sweetheart. I have loved him since we were kids. And I still love him… I think.

He pulled away from the hug. My eyes watered, but I held it back. Not here Lex!

"Lex, I miss you so much! My god! Almost 3 years. I've been looking for you for almost 3 years, Lex! How are you? Where do you stay now?" He was in tears as he looked at me with a smile on his lips. I looked at him and smiled bitterly.

"I'm fine, Zen. I'm glad to see you. But I need to leave." I was about to walk away when he grabbed my wrist. I looked at his hand holding my wrist.

"Lex, please? Just 10 minutes? I just want to talk to you," He begs me. But I removed his hand from my wrist forcefully.

"Is it okay with you, Zen? We don't have to talk anymore! It's been a long time now! Can you forget that? Like I forgot about you? I've moved on. You are no longer part of my life now. Past is past, Zen. Nothing else. Excuse me!" After I said that, I walked away. I stopped when I saw Ayenn. She was crying while looking at me. Maybe she heard what we were talking about. I'm sorry, Ayenn.

I could no longer hold back my tears. It flowed down my face. The pain came back. When I left the mall, I went straight to the parking area. I immediately got in my car and started crying. Sam hugged me. I didn't realize that the girls followed me.

"Shh! Shh! Lex, please? We don't want to see you cry. It made us cry too! Huhuhu," Sam said. When I looked up, I saw the girls crying too. They are still sniffing like a child. I wiped away my tears as I laughed.

"Waahhh! Why are you laughing, Lexxy baby? What's wrong? Crying while laughing? Are you crazy? Wahhhh! Ouch!" Mara uttered, but Andrea smacked her head. We all laughed.

I stop laughing and look at them with a smile. "Thanks ah? If you weren't here, I don't know what I would do."

"Who's the idiot who hugged you, Lexxy baby? I will beat him up! Hmph! We're the only ones who should hug you!" Mara said while pouting. She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yes, Lexxy baby! I hate that idiot's face for making you cry! We were having fun earlier, but he ruined it!" Andrea looks upset.

"We're just here, Lexxy baby! We're ready to help you any time. Whatever happened to you before, we have no right to interfere. But expect us to always be here." Camila said, smiling.

I'm really lucky to have friends like them.
