Chapter 9

(Sarah's POV)

I heard my phone ring, I headed over to my purse and grabbed my phone to see who was calling. I answered as soon as I saw that it was my brother.

"Hey Bubba everything okay?"

"Hey where y'all at?

"We are at the lake swimming, why what's up?"

"Come on home and you will see."

"What happened?"

Sophie and Sarah look at me with worried faces. I lift up my finger telling them to give me a second.

"Never mind bubba, we will be on our way right now. We will be there in an hour." I said as I hung up the phone.

I looked at Sarah and Sophie and said " I think something is wrong with the pack. My brother called to say we need to come home right now."

They nodded and we gathered our stuff. We got in the truck and headed off to our pack which is an hour away from us.

"What do you think happened?" Sarah asked.

"To be honest I don't know and I hope it's nothing serious." I said.
