Chapter 17- Stand Offish

I was shaken awake by Jasper.

"Wake up, the meeting is starting in five minutes," he said.

"I'm coming," I replied groggily. I had somehow fallen asleep on the ground. I seriously need to fix my sleeping schedule, I thought.

Everyone around me was awake, and gathering in the center of the room. Tobias and his men stood near the door: the silent observers. The more senior people like Claudia sat on the limited chairs while the rest of us made ourselves comfortable on the floor.

Mindy stood up and began to speak. "Hello everyone. As you all know, we are all on this boat on the way to Qatar, to take action against AEXOSR by ambushing their headquarters, the largest one in the Middle East. I will address three main points and then if anyone has questions they may speak. Agreed?"

Everyone nodded and murmured in response. Mindy continued speaking.
