Just then I heard a "Boss" being called. I looked at the other door and horror came to my face. The stairway to the bakery handle was moving. They got up the stairs.

I whispered "hide" and everyone took off. Cindy went under the sink in the cabinets. The baker and his wife went into the bathroom. Sam, Josh and I went into the bedroom. We all did our best to not be in plain sight.

I was beyond terrified. I could not move or speak. The door slowly opened, and my nightmare came to life. There he was the man who treats woman like property an expects us to enjoy his "protection," I felt my blood freeze in place the moment I saw him. I was done for and would be killed soon hopefully. I prayed that Josh would kill me now as there was no hope for my living an actual life, now that he was here.
