Meanwhile inside the operation room. The said lady in question stood next to the operation table watching the body that looked like hers. She felt a cold shiver and stepped back a little asking incoherently, ''what am I doing there? why am I laying there when I am standing here?''

She turned and looked towards the door. She walked towards it and when she got there, she stretched her hand to hold the door and found herself easily passing through out of it. She frowned and was about to go through the door once again when the face of her fiancé came to sight.

''Leo, Leo, can you hear me? What is happening? Leo why are you crying? I'm here, speak to me'' Lizzy shook his hands as she spoke but she couldn't get any response out of him and it made her confused and frustrated. She looked up helplessly and saw a small girl about 9 years leaning against the door sucking a lollipop. Lizzy frowned as she saw the girl looking at her and decided to ask, ''can you see me?''

''What do you think?'' she answered like it was the most obvious thing. She looked at Lizzy and cocked her brows, obviously mocking Lizzy for her ignorance with her slightly parted lips

''Then, why can't he see me? He didn't hear me speak to him, right?'' Lizzy asked again and pointed at Leo who was still sitting on the bench in a sorry and helpless state.

''He can't hear you neither can he see you'' she pouted her thin lips and chuckled.

''What? But why? Why can't he see me?'' Lizzy asked impatiently and glared angrily at the girl who didn't seem to be bothered at all. ''Why are you laughing?''

''Should I tell you why or not...?'' she bit on the lollipop and it broke into pieces and chewed making irritating sounds.

''Can you stop making those sounds, it's making my ears ache" Lizzy screamed at her.

''You are dead!!'' the girl said waited for her reaction.

''Ah ah ah you are so funny. If I'm dead, then why do you see me?'' Lizzy asked and folded her arms around her chest.

''I see you because I'm also dead'' the small girl said and watched as Lizzy's face turned pale and she smiled as if enjoying the different expressions on Lizzy's face.

''What? You must be crazy. I'm going to prove to you that I'm not dead'' Lizzy said and saw Leo walking towards the operation room where her body laid.

''Just wait, you see the man coming?''

''Off course, I'm not blind. He must be your fiancé?'' she asked, smearing the lollipop around her small lips. She turned and looked at Lizzy amusingly as if watching a good show.

''Yes, and I'm going to talk to him to prove you wrong'' she was resolute in her stand.

''Okay, I'm watching. Go and make him see you then. I love to watch dead people return to reality after facing its harshness'' she pointed her index finger towards the side of her brain.

''Babe, where are you going? Let's go together'' she ran after him and he kept on walking away. Feeling frustrated all too soon, Lizzy tried harder to make him hear her by speaking up loudly ''Leo, did you hear me?''

The girl sighed and shook her head.

Lizzy desperately stood in front of him and he walked right through her and went away. Her body stiffened as she stood there speechless and the girl walked to her.

''Come with me'' the girl said to Lizzy and went inside the operation room. Lizzy bit her lips hard before gathering the courage to go. When they got inside, she saw Leo holding her hand and tears trimmed down her face.

Watching Leo cry in front of her body she turned to the girl, ''tell me, this is just a dream, right? Am I, really dead?'' She looked at her lifeless body that was covered with a white quilt and her tears fell uncontrollably.

''I hate to be the one to break it to you but, the evidence is all here. You are dead!!'' the girl lifted the quilt and pointed at a tiny round shaped on her body, ''you were shot. That's how you died''

''Who shot me?''

''How am I supposed to know that? You were the one shot not me''

''I can't remember anything''

''You must have lost your memory as a result. That's why you don't remember anything. Come with me''

'Where are we going? What about Leo? I can't leave him here alone. He is devastated''

''Should I kill him? That way you could just leave together with him, since you can't bear to be apart? Listen, I am trying to help you, okay?''

''No, don't kill him. I will just go with you, but where are we going?''

''To the place it all started'' the girl said with a sly smirk.

Standing in front of a grave stone in the District C Cemetery, the girl pointed at the gravestone and turned to face Lizzy.

''Here, you were shot right here, this morning''

''This placed? This is my mother's gravestone, I came here this morning to goodbye my mother because I was leaving the country with Leo but something is still missing, right? If I was shot here, then why? What did I do wrong? Why was I shot? What really happened? You have all the answers, right?'' Lizzy looked at the girl.

''Yes, but it won't be of help if you don't remember anything'' the girl told her and sat on the gravestone, still sucking her lollipop.

''I don't understand''

''The reason why your soul is still wandering now is because you want answers. If you don't get those answers, you might not be able to leave and if you don't, you will end up becoming an evil spirit that will be haunted by the grim reaper, like that one over there'' she pointed at an pale ghost, same one who appeared to Nicole previously, ''poor thing, she doesn't want to go unless she avenges her death"

Looking at the girl whose appearance reminded her of the zombie movies, she usually watched, she stepped back and sat on the gravestone clinging her hands tightly around the girl.

''I don't want to be like her'' Lizzy said.

''Well, you won't be exactly like her, you might end up looking more terrible and frustrated than her'' an image of Lizzy with a rugged appearance came to her mind and she clapped her hands laughing.

''All of this must be fun to you but it isn't to me, so stop smiling and answer me. Tell me, what happened here? Maybe it could help me to remember''

''Hey, don't vent your frustrations on me. I wasn't the one who killed you''

''I'm sorry''

''That's a lot better. I was having a beauty sleep over there…'' she pointed at a gravestone and when Lizzy looked at it, she saw a picture of the girl on it.

''Candy Nsoh. Is that your name?'' Lizzy asked the girl.

''Yes, my name is Candy''
