Mary had just finished getting Evelyn ready for dinner when her father knocked on the door to her room.
"I will leave you, now," Mary said and excused herself from the room.
"What is it father?" Evelyn asked.
"Did you enchant your saddles?" Duke Henry asked.
Evelyn froze in her steps and looked at her father with pleading eyes. "I was going to tell you," she said. "I just did not want you to be angry with me that I did that so I kept it a secret. I did not think anyone but Peggy knew."
"It was easy to find out with all the creatures here. Clyde said that he overheard you wanting to do it to all the saddles for my men. What stopped you from doing it?"
"Well," Evelyn began. "It takes time and I need to add a protection charm to them or their weapons and then it will be perfect. I did not want to bring it up until I was satisfied with the work I could do."
