Evelyn was silent as they prepared their horses for the journey north. She could not shake the memory of the nightmare from last night; it felt too real.
"Are you alright?" Clyde asked when he noticed she had not said anything since she got to the stables.
Evelyn stared into his deep red eyes and smiled softly. "I will be," she replied.
Clyde nodded his head. He knew that whatever the dream was that she had last night had shaken her, but he hoped she would feel better after they were on the road.
Evelyn secured her saddle and bags on her horse. She was ready to get on the road and she hoped that her dream did not come to pass.
"I am ready," she said.
Clyde looked her over before nodding his head and the small group set out for the north.
