Maxine returned to find Evelyn wrapped in a towel in front of the fireplace. "Are you alright?" She asked.
Evelyn nodded her head, "yes, thank you. I took a healing potion so I will be okay," she replied.
"That is not what I am concerned about," Maxine said and handed her a small parcel of clothing. "I took the liberty of getting you some trousers. I know how much you hate wearing dresses and we have a long ride ahead of us tomorrow."
"Thank you," Evelyn smiled. She took the package from Maxine and surprised to find a nightgown as well. She slipped the soft fabric over her head, "this is perfect," she said with a smile.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Maxine asked.
"Not really," Evelyn replied. "I just cannot wrap my mind around why Peggy would do something like this. I have not done anything to her," she sighed.
"Jealousy makes people do unimaginable things," Maxine replied.
