Evelyn struggled to stay in her saddle. She had not slept well last. No matter how hard she tried, she could not get the image of that coven out of her mind. It was like they were taunting her in her sleep. She yawned and stretched her arms above her head.
"Are you alright?" Maxine asked from behind her. She had seen Evelyn sway in the saddle and she was worried about the toll the long ride was having on her.
"I will be fine," she yawned. "Thank you."
Maxine nodded her head and turned her attention to Geoffrey. "Are you alright, love?" She asked through the bond.
Geoffrey straightened up and looked deep into her eyes. "I am doing fine," he reassured her. "This is nothing to me."
Maxine laughed at that remark. She had found it interesting that Geoffrey had chosen to ride horseback instead of shifting and running along with them, but she figured it was probably for the best that he was riding.
