August walked back to his room once again, digging in the pile of books to figure out the problem he was facing at the moment, but no matter how long he was searching for the answer, nothing could be found. Not even the slightest mention of the condition that he was facing.
He tried looking for the things such as charms and curses in magic books, searching for something with similar effects, but nothing could be found. It almost looked like there was no way out.
His best try now could only be found in his teacher's words, and he should travel to the Grand Cherry forest to see for himself if he would be able to find the things he is searching for.
Without noticing, August spends an entire day searching for the solution to the struggle he is facing, and in the end, nothing of the use was found.
The time was nearing the night, and August felt the urge to leave this place as soon as possible. Never before did he feel so hopeless, not being able to speak the name of the one guilty for his childhood.
Making a decision, August tidied his room and went to get some sleep before leaving. He was used to leaving in the early mornings when the sun was rising, and the people were still asleep. He would silently be leaving, letting nobody know about his absence. However, this seemed like it rarely worked since Albert was the one to ruin both of his silent and calm leaves.
Clearing his head from all the thoughts and slowly falling asleep, August welcomed darkness with his hands stretched widely. But his break was never destined to be successful. His sleep was peaceful until one decided to figure more things out from August's brains.
Out of a sudden, August woke up feeling uneasy about something. Rubbing his eyes, he looked around the room, looking for something. Before long, his eyes enlarge, spotting a figure of someone standing there.
Almost instantly, his mind started to get filled with various questions. How did he get here without alarming him? How was he able to appear here out of nowhere? And who the hell he is?
The man stood and looked at barely awake August, confused by the situation of someone appearing out of nowhere right in his room while also not being noticed by others.
Under his cloak, the smile wide as his face started to creep out with the man also getting existed.
August didn't want to waste any more time and quickly grasped his sword that was lying beside him. Standing up, he dashed at the man with his full speed and power, trying to fight before asking questions.
However, even with the use of all of his powers, he could not scratch the man. Like out of nowhere, a staff appeared in his hand, and he deflected August's sword with enough force to push August several steps back.
Being stunned and also confused, August was shocked. With his eyes like of a cat, with a frown, August cursed, "What the fuck?"
The man took several steps forward, moving closer to August, and a quiet chuckle could be heard under the hood. Almost immediately, August noticed the similarities between the one in front of him and the one that attacked them when they were in the temple of Melitele.
But this time, the things were a bit different since August knew much more than back then, and the only assumption he had about the real face behind this hood was someone he knew really well.
"It's nice to see you again, witcher!" said the man hiding behind the cloak. In his voice, you could hear some excitement and happiness from how he was talking.
Gritting his teeth, August looked at the man as his eyes shrank, showing his inner anger towards the man in front of him. With poison in his voice, he said: "Cut that show freak and take down your cloak. I know who you are!"
"And who am I?" inquired the man with interest in his voice while also posing to look like he was thinking.
Exhaling lungs full of air, August once again tried to say his name, but just like before, nothing worked. The only sounds that August was able to make were the sounds of a dying bull.
"Oh, it already reached this point? I didn't expect much progress from you. But I can only assume that you were a naughty boy, using your magic left and right, but what a coincidence this is the consequences you are facing now." said the man with satisfaction that could be heard in his voice from a mile away.
"What do you mean?" August inquired, not getting the crap that the man was spouting.
Waving August questing away, the man replied, "It doesn't really matter at the moment. Well, if you are this far, then I don't see any problem seeing what else you know!"
August once again tried to move and attack the man in front of him, but he was met with a word that came from the mouth of the man.
"August, stay there and don't move", commanded the man, and almost without resistance, August stopped and, like a doll, did whatever the man said.
The man removed the cloak from his body, revealing the well-known man to August. With a nasty smile on his face, while also wearing a smirk of pride, he said, "Long time no see, my dear student."
Biting his tongue August forced his body to resist the compulsion and spit on the man in front of him. "Fuck you, bastard."
Walking around August, he stroked his head while whispering, "Shhh, you don't need to be so aggressive, August. I know how it might feel, being unable to control your own life, being fully unable to make a choice of your own."
"Shut up. You know nothing," responded August, with his voice full of anger and poison.
"No, no, no. I understand that feeling, not having the power to break the shackles that are holding you down, without knowing what to do in the future to control your destiny. But that is not what I'm here today for. I'm here today for one particular reason." said the man while taking a seat on August's bed.
With frustration in his voice, August said, "What again? You want to know more about Elder Blood?"
"Excellent deduction skill, my dear student! I do indeed need more. The amount of information you provided me with was insufficient to do anything until this point in time. So I'm here, in the flesh, to see what else you can tell me about this matter. You won't mind, would you?" inquired the man wearing a nice and honest expression on his face.
Biting his tongue until the blood started to flow, August tried to hold his mouth shut but failed miserably. No matter what he did, whatever the man did to him, was something he couldn't fight.
Through his teeth, words started to leave August's mouth. "Yes," there was a pause since the force that made August speak decreased as soon as he spoke. Building up a strategy, he decided to speak.
"Yes, there is something new that I found out. Elder blood is connected to the lineage of an exceptionally beautiful woman. The one that will be the mother of the child that will hold the world destiny in her palms will be the woman with eyes colour of emerald and hairs colour of ash," spoke August, spitting everything he was able to figure out from his visions.
As soon as he did, he felt how the amount of force that was affecting him decreased and without making too much movement, he created a sign in the man's direction, trying to crush him into the wall using Aard.
As soon as he did, a powerful wave of telekinetic force made its way towards the man sending all furniture flying in all directions, but that only slightly affected the man. He took a step back and looked back at August with a frustrated face, and said in a commanding voice, "I said, do not move!"
August was once again stuck in the same positing unable to make a move, like a statue made of marble that is forever destined to stay in the same shape that the artist chooses for her.
This time the force was much greater than before. However, the medallion on his neck didn't even badge at the magic used upon him.
"Well, I can't say you didn't try. But believe me, young man. You are my masterpiece, and you were the one that I worked on for too long to let loose. So try to do whatever is on your mind, but I doubt a small brain of yours will be able to even solve the mystery behind yourself. Farewell, August, don't miss me. We will see you someday in the future!" with his last words, he stroked August's head like a head of a puppy while also having a wide smile on his face.
Without saying anything else, he teleported somewhere else, leaving August unable to move for several hours, giving August a hint about what was happening with him.
