Promise not to hate me

Azriel could barely get any sleep. He was constantly watching Dahlia for signs of any discomfort so he could be there to help her out but she barely moved the whole night and he wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing.

Occasionally, he would wipe her forehead when he noticed her sweating excessively possibly from nightmares but that was the most he could do for her. There wasn't much he was able to do while she was still asleep.

He had gone through a thousand different scenarios of how he could deal with Duke Arnold and teach him a lesson but in the end, the only reasonable solution was to wait till Dahlia was awake. She was the one he wronged so it was best to fit if she gave him a punishment she found the most appropriate, all Azriel had to do was make sure his punishment was as painful as can get.

"Azriel."
