A Whole New World

In a far away land, miles and miles away from Washington, Central Sea and the content itself, a portal opened up in a snowy plan witch always snowed and snowed. Any time, any place, any season even, there was snow, snow and even more snow. On this regular day however, in what looked to be a forest, a portal opened up and it shot out six humans as the portal then disappeared once more. "Ugh my head, i think i got a wire loose or something", Penny said as she awoke to find that she now had a new ice design as well. She now had a dress of sorts with snowflakes for the design and a crown sat atop her head with the crown being a light blue color with ice designs as well. "I could get use to this", Penny said to herself as she saw everyone else had landed next to her with them waking up as well. "Ugh my spine", Cyrus said as he awoke with a beanie on his head and scarf around his neck. "Where the heck are we?", Cyrus asked knowing he wouldn't get a straight answer, or one right away he hoped. "I have no idea", London said as she awoke as well. "Well wherever we are, it's decently not home", Dez added as he now had a few blue highlights covering his left eye along with the usual snow in his hair. "Still, what is this place?", Xander asked as he was rocking a winter coat with Ice detailing on the sleeves. "I thought every magical world was sucked into the moral's world after that merge?" "Well wherever we are, we know that we were send here for a reason", Penny said. "How so?", Sophia asked. "Simple, the portal was there for a reason, it couldn't have been just a coincidence that something magical happened when we defeated Liz", Penny stated with confidence in her voice. "Well i mean, she has a point", Dez said. "Even i don't know why that portal summoned us here but i think we need to move and see if we can identify that reason", Cyrus added. "Good thinking, plus it's getting chilly out here already", Penny said. "Eh, not that cold", Xander said. "Whatever", Penny said as the six of them got on there feet and set out to find anyone or anything that could help them. They walked along the snow and saw nothing but trees with snow on them or the snowy mountains in the distance. There was zero sight of intelligent life anywhere for miles and miles to come. Luckily, with there new designs, they found that there boots were very much snow boots and could very easily traverse through the snow witch made all the walking much more manageable in the long run. With this, the gang walked for a very long time, it felt like minutes, it felt like hours but after a long while, the gang spotted something in the distance. "What's that ahead?", Xander asked as it looked like a bunch of spotlights towards the sky. "Could that be a town?", London asked. "Well there's only one way to find out", Penny said as when she took a step to look at what the lights were coming from, she along with the rest of the gang heard something in the trees. "What was that?", Sophia said as the trees shook with quite a bit of force. "Show yourself", Cyrus said as he got ahold of his wand and pointed at the trees. For a few seconds, there was not a single sound in the trees or anyone until a shadowy figure landed in the trees above. "Outsiders, not another step forward", a voice in the trees said with a strict voice. "Who are you?", Penny asked the figure with a little bit of fear in her voice. "Stay away from our town you winged beast", the figure said as it jumped down into the show. The figure was wearing a brown robe with his hood over his head while carrying a spear so long it was a bit taller then him. "Leave now you winged demons!", the figure said as it drawled it's spear at the ready. "No no, were not these beasts you speak of, were wizards", Penny said as she held out her hands in peace. "Oh really? I would fall for a simple trick?!", the figure said as it approached Penny as it was ready to fight without warning. "No no, i have a wand, a crown, what more do i need?", Penny said as the figure backed away. "I see. Forgive my outburst, i wasn't expecting to see anyone new in these parts", the figure said as it took of it's hood and showed it's face. "Who are you?", London asked. "The names Ted but you can call me Eight or Eight Blackout", Eight said. "Nice to meet you Eight", Penny said. "Names Penny and that's my brother Cyrus and there's London, Sophia, Xander and Dez." "No way, your the Penny, the princess i would think?", Eight asked with much interest. "Yeah", Penny said. "I heard the beasts mentioning you and your friends once but i never thought they were real before", Eight said. "What what do you mean beasts?", Dez asked. "Uh...that can wait. What is important is how did you get here? This place is hidden", Eight asked. "We came through a portal", Cyrus said. "A what? A portal hasn't shown up here in centuries", Eight said as he looked a bit skeptical. "He's telling the truth, we defeated a dragon, celebrated on this rock thing and a portal shows up, turns Sophia and London into the winter versions of themselves and the next thing we knew, we were sucked into this world", Cyrus stated. "Hm, that is far beyond my knowledge but if a portal sucked you guys into here, it can't be for a good reason", Eight said as he shivered with a little fear in his voice. "What do you mean by that?", Penny asked. "I can't say too much about that right now. What matters is that your highness meets the queen of these lands at once", Eight said. "Who's the queen?", Sophia said. "I'll explain on the way now come on, unless you want to get snowed in", Nine said as the gang followed him to a very tall looking gate made of ice and stone. "This is the entrance to Shiver Town, my home, at least it use to be", Eight said as he opened the gate. "Enter of you dare." "Oh this is so exiting", Cyrus said. "I can't wait to see this place", London said. "You're gonna love it", Eight said as he closed the gate.
