CHAPTER 29

"So, are you going to tell me why you shamelessly brought me here?" Aurelia asked the man who had no empathy for her at all. Paid men were surely different. She should find her own group of prosecutors after this was all over.

"Are you sure you don't know or you are just being stupid?"

"Is it even allowed to insult someone simply because you arrest them? I came here willingly without even knowing why I am here, and yet you are here trying to play cat and mouse with me. Why don't we just go along with it and stop wasting each other's time?"

"Fine!" the man shouted angrily and threw a file to her, which she took and opened. How could they do the same trick every single time?

"I saw these pictures at the police station ago, why are you showing them to me again?"

"Those are your staff, correct?"

"Yes, they are."

"Did you kill them?"

"No, I didn't."
