CHAPTER 59

"There you go", Lucy said as she gently places Kagura in the boat. Lucy's happiness from being free to fight Jellal immediately faded. She thought that keeping guard of Kagura would be a worthwhile job. Don't get her wrong, protecting someone from harm is a job worth taking but she was suddenly plagued by the idea of being worthless. While her friends are fighting someone powerful, she remains in the rear barely protecting anyone at all. Seriously, what are the chances that danger would come her way when she is placed at the back of her friends...nearly none. That's what happens when you remain in the back, you wait for the vanguards to achieve victory and only celebrate when they win. While you wait for that said news to arrive.

She then took out a key and summoned Plue by her side. She picks up the creature and said, "I should train more shouldn't I Plue? I can't let them fight all the time?"

"Plu-plue"

"Yes, I need to train more!", Lucy said with a sudden renew vigor. She then proceeded to throw Plue in the air, "I'll do that when I return back to the guild".

Lucy was shocked when suddenly out of nowhere she heard rock music coming towards her. The sound was so loud that Lucy needed to covered her ears.

"Well too bad for you. You won't be given a chance to train. Not when I bring the concert from hell!", said a muscular man with a guitar in hand. The person in front of her had the typical rock star look, plus incredibly long hair that seems to moves on its own accord.

"Who are you?", Lucy said while keeping her distance from the weird-looking man. 'Is this one of Jellal's warriors', Lucy thought.

"I bring the concert of hell! Assassin's Guild, the Skull Order!!! I am a member of trinity raven. They call me Vithaldas Taka!!", the man replied. He then started playing his guitar. Suddenly Taka's hair moves with extreme speed and Lucy was unable to see it coming. It was too fast for her that she wasn't able to summon any of her stellar spirits.

"AH!", Lucy shouted as she could taste blood in her mouth due to the attack she just received. She tried to take out one of her keys but Taka immediately controlled his hair and this led to Lucy being bounded by it.

"HAHAHAHAHA! So, easy!!", Taka said as he controls his hair to make Lucy float towards him. "Such a weak girl", he said with a lustful look in his eyes. "Too bad, I can't have my fun with you. I need to take care of the rest of you after all. Such is the plight of the outnumbered, but I'll have my fun killing every single one of you", Taka said with a huge sadistic grin on his face.

He then played his guitar and a magical seal appear in front of him, "Take the full of might my magic. DEATH WAVE!!!

A powerful wave of sound magic was about to hit Lucy and all she could do was scream in terror. Without her summons, she was as weak as an ordinary man.

"WATER NEBULA!"

"BANG!"

Right before the sound magic connected to Lucy, two powerful streams of water magic intercept the attack. The clash prompted Lucy to be unintentionally released from her hold and be propelled due to the explosion. She landed in the ocean causing her to soak in seawater.

"HAHAHAHA! The funs not over yet I see", Taka said as he smiles at the person who stopped him from killing Lucy.

"Seriously, I have liked it more if the person I saved was Gray, not you", Juvia said as she gave an annoyed look to Lucy, Lucy just pouted at that remark.

While Juvia was busy talking to Lucy, Taka controlled his hair to sneakily attack the water mage but he was greatly disappointed. His hair just went pass through Juvia's body, something that shocked him.

"That's a sweet little body you've got yourself there", Taka said with a crazed look in his eyes.

Juvia then looks at him, "Juvia's body is formed of water. No attack can harm Juvia's body". Juvia then summoned water and control it to surround Taka causing the man to be incapable of escape. Lucy was happy when she saw this, both the women believe that victory was at hand.

But their joy of victory was not meant to be. Taka used his hair to absorb literally every drop of water that Juvia used. "HAHAHAHAHAAH!!!! Just a bit of water and you think you can defeat me?".

"how? impossible?", Juvia said with shock in her voice.

"My hair has the power to absorb any liquid!", Taka said as he played his guitar, "NOW IT'S MY TURN. FACE THE MUSIC LADIES".

"DEATH SONATA!".

A powerful blast of sound magic immediately attacks both women.

"AH!"

Both women felt the full power of the magical attack. Juvia tried to fight back but she alone was powerless to defeat the assassin. All her spells were easily countered, but in Taka's case, easily absorbed. Lucy tried to fight back by summoning Taurus but the Celestrial Spirit of the Golden Bull was easily defeated. He was too slow to put a proper fight against Taka.

"Damn it!", Lucy said as she tried to stand up. Both Juvia and her were already wounded. Their clothes turn to shreds. Their opponent likes taunting them by removing their clothes little by little every time he attacks.

Suddenly, in the corner of Taka's eyesight, he saw the figure of a sleeping Kagura. Both Juvia and Lucy immediately saw where he was looking at and with their wounded bodies, they immediately stood and blocked his path.

"Don't even think about it you creep", Lucy said with wounds covering her body.

"I don't particularly like you Lucy but it seems we agree in this regard. No way will let you hurt her", Juvia said as she controls the water in the ocean to hover close to her.

"You can't even do anything to me!", Taka said as he began laughing, "What makes you think you can beat me now. Once, I'm done with you two, I'll kill that girl as well".

Realizing that their defeat would be the death of Kagura, Lucy and Juvia began to work together. They became determined to not let any harm come Kagura's way.

"OPEN! GATE OF THE WATER-BEARER, AQUARIUS!!!"

"You think that summoning a celestial spirit that specializes in water magic can defeat me?! PATHETIC!"

"ROCK BOOM!"

A purple wave of sound magic was release from Taka's guitar. Both Juvia and Lucy could feel the raw magical power that the attack was carrying. Both the woman subconsciously held each other's hand and together formed a magical seal.

"UNISON RAID: HYDRO SCREW!"

Both spells collided in mid-air, both trying to overpower the other. One made of pure water, the other made of sound. Each trying to reign supremacy against the other.

While this was happening, Enzo could be seen in the distance watching the clash of two powerful magical attacks.

"hmm... I never saw a unison raid in person. That's interesting", Enzo said to himself.
