The good news, is that she found out the reason why they were acting strangely right after she got into the academy. The bad news, she found out the reason right after she got into the academy.
As soon as she walked into the academy, the harsh, criticizing gazes found her immediately. The academy was for rich kids, which meant basically all of the kids who were invited to the spring festival at Ichiya's mansion, were here. Even as she walked next to Louis, the gazes were still scary. By then, she had realized it was going to be a hell at the academy, even more so than from before.
Louise was an upperclassman, so he was in a different classroom, not to mention a different floor even. It was a good thing that a teacher called her to lead her into the classroom, because she didn't know where it was. Though, turns out, it wasn't exactly a good thing after all.
In the classroom, it was even worse than in the corridors. She saw Akito in the seat next to the window, in the back row. Though, she felt happy to see him for some reason, she knew he didn't exactly feel the same. He looked genuinely surprised when he saw her, & next to him, the beautiful heroine sat staring at her with curious look.
-He just had to be in the same classroom as me, & the heroine as well... why the hell is she here anyway? Isn't it rich kids' school? And the heroine was supposed to be like cinderella right? Or maybe not?
All the classmates scorned at her. Some giggled to each other, glancing at her; ah, I should've just missed class. What an idiot am I?
The bell rang, & she sat on the only seat available. Aka, the front seat. As she sat down, the other kids tried to sit as far away as possible, by moving their desks, & chairs but she could hear them whispering to each other;
'She kept saying that she was Akito's girlfriend, but now that Akito's here with his real girlfriend, she can't say anything.'
'Did you hear what she did to all those girls who only talked to Akito, or even looked at him? Angela should be careful, who knows what she'll do to her.'
'She's such a nice girl, but for the villainess to be in one class with her... tsk, tsk.'
In truth, they were probably using the only opportunity given them to pick at Renaquinn Alexander. As her family was one of the ten wealthiest families in the country, they normally wouldn't even be able to look at her, especially with her strong-willed personality, but now there was her weakness revealed. Such creatures are human beings, that's what she had already realized by now.
'Ok, class. Attention over here,' the teacher knocked on the board thrice, & the murmurs finally became quiet.
'So, bring out your book, page 134,' the teacher said, & she had to eye other students to know what book she had to get from her bag. Western literary, she wondered if it was really different from Japan as she flipped the pages.
As it turned out, she couldn't exactly read well in western language as she thought she could. Though, she could speak perfectly well, when she saw the book, the letters, & alphabets kept mixing with Japanese ones, it made her dizzy. She couldn't even look at the page longer than three seconds.
'Ok, read the passage, & write an essay about your understanding with 200-250 words, finish it in class.'
-Ugh, I can't even read properly, how am I supposed to write? What do I do? Do I just act like I did something, &...?
'When you finish, leave it on my desk for me to check.'
-Crap. F*ck, I always knew my luck was bad, but...!
'What's wrong, Renaquinn? Your face is pale,' the teacher noted, after seeing her grimace. Some of the kids laughed at the back of the class, & the teacher shushed them. While she thought to use this as an opportunity.
'Teacher, I feel sick, I think I...' she covered her mouth, & acted as if she was going to puke.
'Ah... go to the nurse's office, you know where it is, right?'
She nodded without thinking, since she only thought of escaping from the classroom.
'Ok, then you should go now,' as soon as the teacher said that, she stood up from her seat, & left the classroom.

'Wow, she actually looked really pitiful right then,' Julian said, smiling mischievously.
'Pitiful, or not, she really deserved it. She treated her classmates awfully, she always disrupted class, and even the teachers hate her. The only reason, she's still here, is because her family is powerful,' Nicholas concluded.
'But why would she come here knowing all that would happen? Has she become stupid? She could've waited until her family takes care of it, but she's become so stupid, & weak now.' Tyler told Akito who was sitting in his seat quietly during their conversation without even opening his mouth.
'Well, anyway,' he decided to change the topic when Akito didn't answer even after a long while; 'Your girlfriend is really pretty. Where did you meet her?'
'Yeah, she seems to be smart as well,' Julian complimented, & soon the lively atmosphere had returned.
While they were talking, Kikyo was wondering around, inside the school, unable to find her way back. In the end, she decided to give up as she was in an empty corridor now, with no one else in sight.
'Hah, I really can't live like this again,' she talked to herself as she walked alone; 'It's me who's facing the aftermath, but the suspect is nowhere to be found. Yep, it's like the car accident... can I live another 9 years like this? How did I manage survive for that long anyway?'
There was a time that her step brother told her; 'Just die, die instead of living like this. It's painful for you, & me, grandmother, everyone else. So, die already.'
Her reply back then should've been 'Yes, please kill me,' but instead she had answered; 'Why? Why should I die? You're suffering as well? Grandmother's suffering, so I should die? I'm the one being hit, & cursed at, but you're suffering? It's painful for me to live like this, but no one hugs me, & comforts me, like they do to you. Is it only you who's suffering? Why? Why? Why?! Why should I be the one to die? If you're suffering so much, why can't you die instead?!'
'Had I died back then, would it have been easier? If I was going to go through it all again, shouldn't I have just died?' she looked up at the ceiling; 'Is it fun for you? When you watch other people cry, & weep with unhappiness? Or did I do something really bad? Is this punishment? Hah, well... I'll live through it all. I definitely won't die, just you watch. I'll absolutely escape this fate of villainess, I'll show you that I can.'
