Thea couldn't believe what she heard. She knew how talented and powerful the wizard was, not to mention that the crown prince from her country also learned magic and sorcery from him. Such a genius... could steal someone else's creations? No way! It was too scarcely credible.
This time, Thea didn't want to trust this old woman whom she met only one day. She had worked with the wizard for months. Then if you asked whom she should choose between them, she would definitely choose the wizard, who proved her that he was a trustworthy and loyal gentleman.
The witch sighed helplessly, looking at Thea's poker and serious face which clearly showed that she didn't trust her words.
"Let's put it aside then. It does take time to understand certain things." She said, giving up.
Thereafter she gave Thea a sharp look.
"Your aura... do you know how important it is?"
Thea startled at her sudden question.
"My aura?" She mumbled, pointing at herself.
The witch nodded her head.
"Yep, you have this rare aura named 'friendly lightning' in sorcery. You can befriend with anyone you want by just a few words. Incredible, isn't it?"
Thea was still speechless. Nevertheless, she quickly recovered from her shock and asked, "Then what about... that thing?"
"That thing?"
"Mmm... Love...? Relationships?"
"People may have some major crushes on you. But you should know the difference between love and obsession. To us, love is like the moonlight, pure and sacred without lust."
"Without lust?"
"Yeah, little girl. Most of the people can't identify the variance between them. They think love and lust is the same."
Thea's eyes brightened as she interrogated, "Then what about you? Have you ever found your true love?"
The old woman's face lightened in delightment as a wide smile plastered on her wrinkled face. Just as she was about to say something, Thea's stomach grumbled interrupting her.Both of them heard it loud and clear.
Thea: "...." 'Oh noooo!!!'
Old woman: "...."
Thea's entire face flushed red in embarrassment. On the other hand, the witch was so upset.
"I made you stay much longer. Sorry dear..."
Thea quickly shook her head.
"It's nothing, grandma."
The witch's heart melted at the warm way Thea had addressed her.
She took out a goldren bracelet from one of her old boxes.
Giving it to Thea, she stated, "This bracelet can show you the way to find my sister. I'm giving this, in case you might want to meet her one day."
Thea took the bracelet with a heavy heart. It looked expensive. She didn't feel okay with it.
"How much is it? I can pay you the exact price."
"...I don't need money. I only wish your well-being."
"...Then thank you so much, grandma."

After buying some fresh vegetables from the witch's stall, Thea finally headed back to Aaron's apartment. When she was about to ring the door bell, Aaron already opened the door with a smile on his pale face. When he saw her tiresome expression and sweat all over her body, his smile faded away.
"Are you tired?" He asked guiltily.
"Otherwise?" Thea snapped angrily.
Aaron lowered his head like a kid who had done something wrong.
Initially, he didn't want to trouble her. When Thea just sat on his sofa, without doing nothing, except from playing with her phone, he became enraged. He felt like he had been ignored by her all this time. As a compensate, he asked her to make some soup for him. He was secretly excited at the thought of seeing her, being busy for him.
Aaron knew how horrible Thea's cooking was.
(In the past)~~~~~~~~~
Thea appeared in front of Aaron with a wide smile.
"Aaru, babe... I made some cookies for you."
Aaron looked at the biscuits inside the box she was holding. They were all black and looked terrible. He was so disgusted.
"No need, go aw..."
Without waiting for him to complete his sentence, she actually put one of the black cookies inside his mouth.
Thea: "Aren't they delicious?"
Aaron: "...."
"Aaaaaaaaaaahhh!!! Theaaaaaa!!!!!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sweat popped upon his forehead when Aaron recalled that incident. However, he still dared to take this risk, just to see her cooking, wearing an apron like a traditional housewife. He didn't know that his fridge was lack of vegetables. Nonetheless, it was no wonder that he had an empty refrigerator as he always ate outside or takeouts.
He had no choice other than letting Thea go to the market to buy some ingredients for the soup. He couldn't wait to see her. Because of that, he waited at the door to hear her footsteps and as he finally heard them, he quickly opened the door happily only to see someone who looked like a drenched puppy.
"I'm sorry." Aaron said from the bottom of his heart.
"Tsk, go away."
Thea pushed him aside, entering the house. She went straight to the kitchen and put down the vegetable bags on the kitchen countertop with a loud thud.
"Wash and clean them thoroughly until I take a shower." She commanded, pointing at the muddy vegetables she put inside the sink.
"Did you forget something?" Aaron asked in disbelief.
"What?" Thea looked at him attentively before hitting her own forehead.
"Shoot! I forgot that you aren't well. Never mind, I'll do everything. You... just rest for a while." She said, waving her hand.
Aaron nodded his head slightly.
"Okay, but it's not the main problem here."
Thea rolled her eyes annoyingly.
"Then what is it?"
"What about your clothes? I mean, you can't wear your dirty uniform after the shower..." He explained, glancing at Thea's drenched high school uniform.
Thea clicked her tongue.
"Tsk... Silly boy, I can use your clothes."
"My clothes?" Aaron asked, astonished.
Thea nodded her head, reaching out her hand.
"Give me your largest T-shirt."
After taking a shower, Thea made her long hair into a bun before going to the kitchen. She took out a sky-blue apron. This made Aaron amazed. He knew how much she loved the pink colour. But now... There was also a pink apron but she chose the blue one instead? Aaron found her more and more interesting. She has really changed!
'How can a person change this much within such a short period of time?' He wondered.
'Something is missing here. Something fishy...'
