He's nothing but a cockroach

Thea gave them her best angelic smile before saying, "Don't be mad at me, mom. Aunty is like a second mother to me. That's why I addressed her like that."

Mrs.Hilton almost burst into tears when she heard Thea's honey couted words.

She hugged her tightly and showered her with tons of wet kisses all over her cheeks.Thea started breathing again when she was finally released from her embrace.

"Darling, you make me feel so bad about leaving you this soon."

Thea's mother who watched the whole scene from afar: "..."

'When did these two become this close?'

She felt kind of jealous.

"Ha ha, That's enough, little lady. Aunt has so much work to do. You should let her go." 

When Thea heard her mother, she reluctantly stepped aside, giving her aunt the space to get in the cab.

Mrs.Hilton sat on the back seat; waved her hand and said, "Bye darling, I'll visit you soon whenever I have time, I promise."

Thea waved her back uttering, "Then you can't break it, bye aunty!"

Mrs.Adeline side hugged her daughter.

"Your father's sister is so sweet and kind hearted. Just like him."

This time, Thea realized that she didn't even meet her father yet. She turned to her mother saying, "By the way mom, where's dad?" 

Mrs.Adeline shot her a look. "Don't tell me that you forgot about his business trip?"

Thea pretended to be just recalled the whole thing. "Oh, shit! I indeed forgot it."

Thea complained to Siri inside her mind.

"You useless donkey head! Can't you help me even abit? Because of you, I lost my face and looked like dumb in front of my mom."

Siri let out a huge yawn when it heard her.

"None of my business." Thea gritted her teeth. "You! Aren't you here to help me out?"

When Thea entered the living room unhappily, a girl rushed to her side, out of nowhere and dragged her towards the upstairs, acting like she was the owner of Thea's house.

Thea was stupefied.The girl started talking like an open tap while walking along with Thea as she firmly grabbed her wrist.

"I did it.Thea, the god of love finally sent me the list yesterday night. I couldn't wait to share them with you. So I rushed over without telling you."

Thea wondered who she was. This time Siri voluntarily appeared and started giving the girl's information. 

Siri: "She's your neighbour. Name Alice Bolaris. A year younger than you. That means sixteen years old. A playgirl. Had countless boyfriends. The official boyfriend is Gabriel, commanly known as 'The god of love' among girls. He's a French boy living in USA. Alice cheated on him yesterday at a park, making out with a random boy she'd met. She even said to him, 'Your kiss sucks. I'd better find someone else.' And then..."

Thea felt like a headache was coming. She covered her ears and shouted, "So what if his kiss sucks? It has nothing to do with me."  

Alice: "...."  

She stopped in her tracks and stared at Thea, confusingly.

"I didn't talk about a kiss. I was telling...."

Thea suddenly laughed like a fool and held Alice's hand, interrupting her. This time, she was the one who dragged Alice towards her pink room.

"Don't mind my bulshit. What were you saying?" She asked, trying hard to appear as casual as possible to hide her embarrassment. They sat on Thea's bed. Alice crossed her legs and leaned against the headboard.

"I tried hard to find facts about 'how to make a boy fall in love with a girl crazily forever' as you asked me to do. But I could find nothing. I literally had no idea." Her voice got louder as she continued.

"Luckily, two days ago, the god of love asked me out and yesterday, I casually mentioned this problem and he sent me the list of various effective methods in the middle of the night. See, how much this guy cherishes me..."

Thea wanted to roll her eyes. She was impatient and tired at the same time.

"Cut the crap and enter the main topic." She cried out. 

Alice pursed her lips.

"Hey, I just added some sugar and salt to make it tasty. What's the problem?"

She coughed when she saw Thea's glare.

"Okay, okay. I'll tell you.Mmm..The first and main step is... wait! Lemme check."

She pulled out her phone to sneak a peek. "Yeah! Playing hard to get. It's the most important one."

Thea raised her brows.

"What's that?"

Alice clicked her tongue."Little kiddo! It's like this. You should act like you're electrified whenever he gets close to you. Think like this! I'm Aaron and now I'm gonna sit near you."

She stood up and started walking towards Thea like a boy while brushing her hair seductively. Thea wondered if Aaron would ever act like that! Anyways, she didn't say anything and simply looked at Alice's performance.

Alice winked at her playfully and sat beside her, almost touching her shoulder. However Thea forgot to move as Alice instructed. Alice sighed helplessly.

"Nutcase, you forgot to move!" She yelled.

Thea was angry too.

"Hey, I'm a year older than you! Don't insult me." Alice rolled her eyes.

'A year? She's acting like she's twenty years older than me!' 

Alice thought for a while.

"Yippee! I got an idea."

"What's that?" Thea asked lazily.

"Are you afraid of cockroaches?" Thea wrinkled her nose.

"Yeah, they are disgusting. But what's the connection between cockroaches and Aaron? Is he their brother or something?" Alice giggled.

"No, you should think of HIM as a COCKROACH! What do you do when a cockroach approaches you?"

"I'll run as fast as my legs can." Thea exclaimed. 

Alice slapped her own thigh. "That's it. From now on, in your eyes, Aaron is nothing but a cockroach."
