Chapter 16 (Darkness Of World)

"Let's have them taste death now." Almeida laughed.

The three kings started to discuss their evil plans to eliminate the legendary duo and came up with a disgusting plan.

"I know it will perish our pride but to save our rulership, we must take this step," Almeida confessed.

"I agree. We three will surely overpower and outnumber them and increase our winning chances." Balbred said.

*In the Spirit Kingdom*

Queen Amelia was making the magic circle warn Akari about the danger when one of her ministers told her about the movement of the three kings as they had already put their plan in action.

"This is way too early. How can they do this, do they have no pride? Wait, I shouldn't be thinking about it right now. It's an emergency state so I must use the instant contact though it eats half of my mana." she said as she started to chant the spell.

"O THE HOLY SPIRITS OF HEAVEN, LET MY CALL REACH MY TARGET AND DELIVER MY MESSAGE TO THEM IN INSTANT. INSTANT CALL"

As she chanted the spell, she got very exhausted and fall down but her message was successfully delivered to Akari.

*In the house of Akari*

Akari was sitting and thinking about her future strategy when suddenly an image of Queen Amelia formed in front of her.

"Akari or I may say the spirit of war, you should hold your questions as this is just a recording. I want to warn you about the tragedy that's coming for you as we talk so to be safe and don't let your guards down. I don't want to lose such talent like you." The recording ended with these words and as Akari was going to Yahiro to want him, King Almeida appeared before Akari.

"Who the hell are you?" Akari asked

"Aw, how disappointing. you don't know about me? the ruler of the demons. King Almeida." he replied

"So you are him then? Well, that makes things easy for me." Akari said with a smile.

"Ah, what a gorgeous smile you have. Why don't you marry me Akari? I'll give you whatever you want." Almeida confessed

"HAH, you must be kidding. I would rather marry Yahiro than marry you." Akari replied

"Oh don't worry about that guy. The other two kings are taking care of him." Almeida said while smirking.

"Hoh, I guess you don't know him well. I can hear the fighting but it's just him playing." Akari said

"We'll see that," Almeida replied.

"HEY DUMBHEAD GET BACK HERE" Akari shouted to Yahiro

Yahiro was fighting the other two kings when he heard the sound of Akari. He quickly turned into a shadow and went to Akari.

"What do you need Akari? I was having a good time fighting them." Yahiro asked

"Well, I was just telling that fool how he is nothing but the dust beneath our shoes," Akari replied while laughing

"YOU DARE INSULT ME? I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT" Almeida shouted with rage

"Stop shouting old man. My ears are sensitive. JUST KIDDING HAHA" Yahiro joked.

Almeida's rage started to fuel his power and now he was serious. He called all the other kings and told them to kill Akari and Yahiro.

The fight begins. At first, it was Akari and Yahiro in the lead as it was only magic and stealth, Akari was fighting Almeida and Yahiro was fighting Belbred and Garrison. The fight was intense and the kings were drifted back by the magic force of Yahiro and Akari. But then the gear switched.

"Nice passing the test you two. Now let me show you why they call 'us' the king"

Almeida started to overflow all her mana and so did the other kings and they made it flow through their bodies making it 3 times stronger than Akari's. Now the battle was switched to fist to fist battle and Akari and Yahiro were pulled down.

"Garrison and Belbred, hurry up and take down that kid," Almeida said

Yahiro was way too overpowered by them and before he was doing the attack, now he was pulled back to defenses. He couldn't do anything but resist and wait for Akari. But he was fated to die.

During the fight, king Garrison pulled out the sword and cut the hands of Yahiro.

"AHHHH, MY HANDS, NOOO! MY HANDS!!!!!!" Yahiro shouted.

Upon seeing this, Akari, fueled by rage transformed to her rage form and pushed back Almeida with her intense aura. She tried to reach Yahiro as fast as she could but she was late and the time she came to him, he was already slaughtered.

"WHY YOU? HOW DARE YOU DO THIS" Akari said in rage and her overflowing mana and rage aura made the kinds fall back.

But in the end, she couldn't reverse time and do anything for Yahiro. he was already dead and the only thing she could do to get him back was by fighting the gods and get to the resurrection shrine.

As she was walking towards the three greedy kings to kill them her rage form got the best of her as her body couldn't stand level 12 yet.

"NO, I CAN NOT ACCEPT THIS FATE. I CAN'T FALL DOWN HERE AND LET HIS SACRIFICE GO TO WASTE," she shouted as blood was coming out of her mouth

Then she remembered about the forbidden spell which lets a spirit take over a body of a certain person from another world with at least 3 percent of mana. But the chances were low and she didn't have any choice left.

Akari said, "no matter who you are, a hero, a demon lord, or god, I shall take you down if you get in my way."

"O THE HOLY SPIRITS, LET MY BODY TAKE OVER THE BODY OF THE MORTAL FROM ANOTHER WORLD AND LET MY JOURNEY CONTINUE. SPIRIT VESSEL"

She chanted the spell and her physical body started to dust away in an eternal hole of darkness and stay there until a body with mana from another world was discovered and by luck,

it took 3 seconds and that was when she took over Yamato's body but cuz of his body force she could only take temporary control over it.

"And that's the end." Akari sighed.

"Damn, you went through a lot. Fighting the kinds and heroes and everything. But I do have one question. If I was selected then that means I am the only one with mana right?" Yamato asked

"Precisely and quite the overflowing amount. Easily a level 6 in my world." Akari replied

"Does this has a reason?" Yamato asked in confusion.

"Yes it does but it may change every cell in your brain. Do you still want to hear it?" Akari asked

"Yeah, sure, it cant be that bad. I guess?" Yamato replied.

"So you know that your actual father died right? He wasn't dead. He too had mana in himself and was brought to my world." Akari told Yamato.

"Wait...seriously? If that's the truth then I want to meet him." Yamato said with a smile but it turned dark after what Akari told him.

"You can't meet him because your father was my teammate, Yahrio".
