"You wouldn't suddenly start calling me that without any reason," Mauve peeked at Mill, but the young woman didn't look like she would spill anything. Mill just smiled stiffly at her and sat in the corner of the room, watching.
Mauve groaned as she lay on the bed, rolling onto her side. She wanted to go but couldn't leave. She could still clearly remember Jael's reaction to her showing up unannounced and the guards' reaction when they saw her. Was she missing something?
She didn't feel any different, and she was a bit concerned that she had slept that long. What bothered her the most was what had transpired before she fell asleep. Mauve palmed her face. She had barely had a chance to ask Jael about it, but he didn't seem to think it was a problem, which was in itself concerning.
