I hold my breath, all too quickly, all too fast, all too violent for me to cope on the first few seconds, the confusion of bodies, howls of pain from both parties as what had been an empty hill is now filled with supernatural creatures from all over drenching the forest ground with blood, and yet when my mind blinks awake from the turmoil the first thing I do is try to find anyone I can recognize in that mess, try to see if Lucien has managed to get to us.
