Mistakes Were Made

-A couple weeks before the start of UA-

You know, I had thought of many things of what to summon as my last roll before canon.

There was of course the different rulers he had yet to summon, but those weren't exactly made for combat.

Then there were the berserkers- I liked my sanity thank you.

But then there was the glaring riders.

At some point during these years before this roll I had asked the system if vehicles counted as weapons.

It's answer?

And at that point my mind was made up.

Being so excited for today, I already knew who I was going to pick- Maid Alter, and her VERY sexy Cuirassier Noir.

It was a moment of weakness that I chose her when I realized- hey, what about literally everything else.

Summoning an ocean, calling down a DRAGON, or maybe even nano-machine like familiars.

Yeah, maybe not my best moment, but damn. This was a sexy fucking bike.

And you know what? IT CAN DRIVE ON WATER!

It might have been a mistake, but it was beautiful. Though it did turn out that Maid Alter could use everyday objects as weapons though.

I carry a broom, FEAR me.

Anyway, as ridiculous as she was, Maid Alter did have her upsides.

"Akira! How did you get the house so clean?!" My mother coming home surprised to a spotless house.

Me still looking like Alter with her pale skin and white hair only smiled.

"Nothing mom, just a bit of elbow grease."

Mom just giving up on me with my surprise transformation only sighed and moved in with her life.

It just turns out that Alter was indeed an excellent maid. Her combat powers didn't reduce as a rider but actually increased.

While she still had the skills of using a sword, she could also use a pole-arm and slight water magic.

She was basically a jack of all trades master of none.

With UA approaching however, this was still sidelined with one question.

What the hell am I gonna dress as?

A spandex? No way in hell.

Super high tech? Not gonna happen.

Honestly, I might as well be an Anbu from Naruto. Actually, that might not be that bad of an idea.

Anyway, with Toru set on being a hero, I certainly couldn't be the one lagging behind.

A name...

Hmm... how about Alter Ego? Sounds just about right.
