The woman clicked her tongue and shook her head. What was she thinking, talking to a cat? The cat in her arms, however, didn't shift its gaze anywhere else. Still staring at her with its two round eyes, the animal hiding under her clothes gently stretched her skin.
Ignoring the painless, harmless tiny wounds, the young female knight strode back to her house. Despite it being late at night, the moonlight was brilliant, and the snow covering the ground reflected all light from the surroundings to make the city even brighter. Thus, she didn't face much trouble finding her way back.
