Setting off

A day later, I woke up pretty early to check on how Kisara and Jade Regent would go about their drafted plan. 

The sun had yet to rise from the horizon and I could already hear the whole place becoming busy from Kisara's instructions.

The Mortal Rank servants of the imperial family moved about, preparing for the occasion.

I've seen the other members of her imperial family; the branch families. Just like hers, their Transcendents experts all fell against the invasion, leaving behind the second generation or whatever generation they were already with no one reaching the Transcendent Rank yet.

I don't mind if she's going to give them preferential treatment and raise a few of them to become a Transcendent. I mean, that's also part of the plan anyway. But I told her not to let them throw their weight around just because they're from the imperial family.
