"Sir, we've arrived," the driver said weakly.
Gao Han let his grasp loosen, releasing Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran looked pale, clearly still in shock.
Gao Han's eyes filled with regret. How had he forced her again? Hadn't he promised not to pressure her?
"Are you alright? I didn't mean for this to happen." Gao Han moved to touch her.
Ye Ranran flinched away as if electrocuted: "Don't touch me."
Her overreaction caused her to hit her back against the car door. Seeing her wince, Gao Han asked anxiously, "Did you hurt yourself anywhere? Let me check."
"Just stay away from me," Ye Ranran warned with a cautious gaze.
Gao Han stepped back: "Okay, I won't touch you. If anything's uncomfortable, let me know."
"We're here now. Can we get out of the car first?" Gao Han asked in a negotiating tone.
Ye Ranran nodded slightly: "You go first."
She intended to escape from the car, but seeing the security guards inside and outside, Ye Ranran gave up.
