Chapter 2:- The Will

Pin drop silence….

A book shelf in which law books are arranged in order. Next to the shelf, there is a table with a miniature statue of Ashok Sthambha, a brown pen stand, a globe, and a huge pile of files. Lawyer Ajay Chandra is drinking tea while he reads his morning newspaper. His secretary comes in and informs that the Shah family has arrived.

Dr. Shah: "Good morning ,Ajay Uncle."

Ajay: "Good Morning Everyone, I was awaiting your arrival. Please take your seats."

Adrika: " What's the use of this will, when our parents are no more? There is not a single day we don't miss them."

Ajay; "I can understand, let me read the will.."

Ajay Chandra takes out the file and reads the will. Dr. Mahendra Shah and Kalpana Shah parents of Dr.Arvik and Adrika have divided the property equally among their children.

Ajay Chandra: "Your father was a good friend of mine. They had also given me a letter and suitcase. They wanted it to be given to you people after you had hear the will."

Ajay Chandra brings the suitcase and a letter.

The letter said

"Dear Arvik and Adrika, we know that when you will be reading this, we wont be in this world anymore, but we will always be with you in your acts and deeds. Remember you both are our true assets. Arvik never forget, being a doctor it's your duty to treat the patient, irrespective of the situation. Adrika you must make sure that you bind your family and your brother's family. Seeing you both happy and successful in life is the only thing we pray for. Never forget, everything in this world happens for a reason. Be brave and face all the challenges in life. Love ma and pithaji."

Ajay Chandra: "Arvik and Adrika, your parents wrote the will when you both were in your degree college. They loved you so much. Here is the suitcase."

Ajay Chandra hands over the suitcase to Dr. Arvik Shah. He opens the suitcase and finds many old pictures, envelopes, Arvik and Adrika's first drawings and many such old stuff filled with memories.

Arvik and Adrika's eyes fill with tears.

Manvi and Soham console them.

They sign the legal papers, thank lawyer Ajay Chandra, and drive towards their home.
