CHAPTER 26: First kill (2)
Before yu yue totally lose her consciousness a figure in black quickly appeared to catch her falling figure.
Xing He quickly catch yu yue in distress. He wants to help her earlier but he can't make a move because this is the reality. They can't protect her forever.
He feels stuffy seeing his master's beloved daughter being like this.
As Xing He suddenly appeared out of thin air it gives everyone a shock and wary heart. Thankfully patriarch de quickly calmed their wary hearts.
"Great master, are you yu yue's shadow guard?" patriarch de asked just to make sure.
"hmm" Xing He replied as he gently carries yu yue inside her tent.
"How's little yu yue master uncle?" little fatty asked anxiously, he was nearer to yu yue earlier but he wasn't able to react as quickly as this uncle.
"she's fine. I already feed her some pills, she's just tired and shock" his eyes flashed knowing how this little girl truly feels right now.
She's been loved and treated nicely inside bright moon palace so this is her first time encountering precarious situation and forced to take a human life.
"That's great then" patriarch de and little fatty sighed in unison wiping off their cold sweat.
"Hmm. You all rest well. I'll be nearby" Xing He said and quickly disappeared right then on the spot.

Patriarch de almost choke, he smacks his son's head in displeasure.
He coughs in embarrassment and bandaged his wounds after taking a healing and recovery pills.
"Hmmp. But that doesn't mean I can't beat you into a pulp if you keep saying nonsense" he said bitterly.
He wonders what this little girl's background is? To have such a strong master like that be her guard. Not even the strongest powerhouse can casually do so in arctic region and even in the central region.
He looks at yu yue's tent as his eyes flashed in contemplation. 'Perhaps she would be able to help them in the outer region' he doesn't know why but this thought flashed in his mind.
After everyone treated their wounds and taking pills they let those severely injured to rest and the rest keep on guard because they no longer have a protective barrier.

3 months later
On their way to the outer region they meet several groups of bandits now and then. Thankfully they aren't all that powerful as they finally reached the border of outer region and yu yue take this opportunity to deal with them like a sparring partner.
Although her swordsmanship is exquisite she's not really good at it without using her piercing ice sword technique. Her inexperience is still visible to the experts eyes so patriarch de give her some advices now and then.
She tried not to kill anyone, even those who show killing intents. She just injured them badly and the others deal some of them. She didn't understand at first but those people came back for revenge so after that she personally take their lives away. She would only spare them once to save herself from another round of trouble.
After doing that for a few months she was able to recognize those vengeful eyes so she didn't spare them anymore. But she let those who didn't show any vengeful eyes go.
Everyone was amazed by her, at first she's really hesitant to kill but now she's not as naïve as they first meet her.
Along the way she also takes her time to study poisons and herbs. There are various poisonous plants and medical herbs in the outer region so she found a liking towards poisonous plants and develop strong poison along the way.
She also advances to qi condensation level 7 early stage.
"This little girl is really a genius, she already reached this level." Patriarch de sighed with emotion as he glances at his gluttonous son who only knows how to eat good food.
Little fatty paused after biting a pig's trotter feeling his father's sharp gaze but quickly resumed back to eating without minding it.
Patriarch de's mouth twitch as he sighed loudly full of disappointment.
His son is a natural genius as well, if he just works hard and cultivate like yu yue, he should also be able to reached that little girl's level in no time.
The patriarch keeps sighing as well as his other clansmen, they all sat around having dinner.
