Zi'er was stumped, she was about to walk towards the platform in the middle of the freezing lake.However, she stops puzzled because there is no bridge that connects to the platform at all.
"how should I get there" she asked in a small voice full of confusion. This elder can't possibly make her swim in this freezing lake right?
"walk in the water, don't stop and don't leave until you're able to" she said with a smile, but zi'er shivered. She could feel a threat in her tone and it chilled her heart so she just nodded stiffly albeit clueless as to what she should do.
