Kai expected Philip to return to their room upset, with a grumpy expression. He didn't mean to but he had overheard everything, using his hearing to eavesdrop on what they were talking about. He had been curious and worried at the same time, unable to stop himself so he just stood in the room, his ears open and listened. He would lie if he said that his heart didn't skip a beat when he heard Philip talk like that. He may not have wanted to be an Alpha but he was sure fitted to be one. His voice, the way he sounded so serious and the look in his eyes that Kai knew so well he could envision it. He was what you could call a leader and once some time passed he would become better and better at it, with lesser fear and lesser doubts. The young prince, knowing very well how attractive that side of him was, couldn't wait to see it at his maximum potential.
