Chapter Tweleve: "Finding Us"

Kalen's Point of View

I heard Emilia's concern that she will lose me but I reassured her that I'm not going anywhere. She isn't going to lose me. The only time I will leave is when she decides that she doesn't want me or finds someone else to spend her life with. Ace growls at the idea of someone else having her, mating with her and having children with her.

Emilia giggles softly and kisses my cheek soothing both me and Ace her soft angelic voice says "don't worry boys, me and Kaya aren't going anywhere." that made me and Ace smiled brightly as she runs her thumb over my hand softly making me smile even more if that was possible. I knew Emilia wasn't suppose to leave the clinic but I couldn't be without her. I looked at Healer Adam and said "can Emilia come stay with me in the alpha suite?"

Why the fuck am I asking permission, I'm the alpha of this pack. Everyone and I mean everyone answers to me unless it's the elders or the Covent. I usually answer to them because they give me shit for doing something wrong. And for the Covent all packs have to answer to them without question or risk our heads. Healer Adam looked at me and said "No disrespect alpha but I don't think she should leave. Her body needs time to heal and isn't fully stable yet" I looked at him and said "then put a heart monitor into my room. She is staying with me and if one of the healers need to be in the spare room next door than they will. I'm not leaving her side and it's too depressing in here. "

I didn't even listen to Healer Adam, I unhooked all of the wires from my imprint and carried her out of the clinic. Healer Adam signed heavily and said " we will be over with the stuff alpha. " I smirked and said "thank you Healer Adam"

I carried Emilia to the Alpha Suite and smiled as I opened the door to the large room and said "welcome home, Emilia." I saw her eyes light up as she looked at me and said "I'm happy to be home, as long as it is with you." I kissed her forehead and sat her down gently onto the bed. She looked around the massive room and she was in complete awe over it.

All the sun came through the windows and hit her beautiful pale skin. You can tell she was suppose to be tan but from always being in the darkness of the basement she hasn't had much chances for the sun to hit her skin and give her a sun kiss tan. I was still in awe over how beautiful she looked. I was beyond in love with her. I couldn't explain it but something about her, something about her wolf made me feel a stronger connection than love. I found my one and true love.
