'...there' I allocated the fifteen free stat points in Str, Int, and Con, five each. I ignored the dead body of the alien in front of me and looked around the room.

There are a lot of different things in the room, I started to Inspect everything in my surroundings. And found certain useful things.

'...wait a minute, all this machinery ought to be high tech and hard to found right...Can I fit them in my inventory?'

I picked up a microscope and placed it in my inventory, the microscope disappeared from my hand and a notification popped up.

'...Okay, time to clean this place out...I'll make the owner cry after I am done with this place.'

I went crazy and utilizing the speed of a specialized C-ranked agility-focused ability transferred everything in the room to my inventory. Looking around the empty room,' well...empty except for the body of an alien just randomly lying around in the middle of the room.'

'...right, why didn't I think of that.'

One quick homicide evidence hiding later...

'...oka,y a squeaky clean room, nothing too suspicious...'

There was no other door so I went back towards the original room and decided to clean the wounds of the alien's body and placing it in place of where I was before.

After hiding the wound with a random piece of machinery for, probably scanning brainwave activity, I moved towards the second door next to the first one.

I could hear little murmurs coming from the room next door and opened the door silently.

"...We just can't deal with this, again and again, we need more subjects to test and modify those new serums and these test subjects keep losing their abilities every 2-3 months...Damn it why do they lose their ability so soon after we capture them. If they kept their ability for a little more time we would be able to speed up the production process by at least 4 times..." Unknown speaker 1

"Well, we did have a new subject coming in, It's not much but at least we could still function for another 2 months at least. This extraction was a little complicated though, so most of the security force is stationed outside to check that no one breaches and finds the base." Unknown speaker 2

"Yeah, at least we were lucky we got our hands on that alien with the same ability...It's weird though right I thought this ability only appeared among humans...but that spirit alien, although almost all of their species have mind related abilities, like illusions and stuff, this one had regeneration like the previous humans..."Unknown speaker 1

"Yeah, there is more to this ability probably, the higher-ups have already flagged the ability as a potential avenue for research...You wanna check up on the new subject before closing here." Unknown speaker 2

"Nah! He'll be out for at least another 2 days, we'll check up on him tomorrow, let's close up here and log our results back in the terminal."Unknown speaker 1

I waited some more before entering camouflage mode and entering the room to see both of them working on two terminals away from each other...I silently moved towards the closest guy. He looked fairly tall and I just placed the gun at his temple and fired while simultaneously grabbing his body and throwing it in my inventory behind me.

I ignored the notifications as the other researcher scrambled and fell upon hearing a muffled gunshot and as he was getting up and looking around to where the other researcher was I aimed again and shot him right in between his eyes…

Ignoring the notifications I walked around and looked around to hear if anyone would appear if the room was bugged or under surveillance.

'Okay, this is getting a bit too easy. Why is a top-secret facility ignoring the most basic security protocols...' I searched both the researchers of any belongings. Getting some access cards I deposited both of them in my inventory.

'Zoey can you bring back those notifications for me...'

"Why am I not surprised, no wonder I was the first one to complete the system quest, these people have been abducting everyone possible with the system for their regeneration ability to test out the effects of various medicines and serums...what are these serums..."

'...crazy...they are trying to replicate the ability of the 7 S-rankers...the latest stable serum can grant someone the ability to teleport anywhere in the universe if they have gone to that place...the side-effects are, severe weakness, hunger, and other random effects...maybe that's how they abducted me...anyway that is some major point for humanity, but I don't think they will be willing to share...'

I connected the terminals to my watch and as soon as I did that the terminal started to hack into my watch. If not for my upgraded tech I don't know what would have happened. I copied everything I could find on my watch and then went back and did the same with the other terminal.
