Beatrix looked up from the book she was reading and turned to Damien who was sitting beside her on the bench.
It was late morning the next day and they had just finished eating breakfast prepared by Damien.
He still hasn't taught her to cook yet. He just lets her observe things and explain any questions she has to her.
Something about a good student has to observe her teacher first.
But she wasn't complaining though, she loved watching the man cook for her.
The more time she spends with him, the more selfish she becomes. She didn't want him to leave her.
Last night, he prepared dinner and they ate it in the gardens while watching the long, gradual sunset by the horizon.
Later, they stepped out to the balcony where he held her in his arms to guard her from the cool evening breeze and when they came back in, he kissed her on the forehead and bid her goodnight.
