The Mission

Ryu snapped out of it.

He realizes she was looking at him and he blushed turning his head not daring to meet her gaze. Soma who saw how awkwerd the atmosfeer got, he coughed.

"Shinobu this is Ryu he will be our new member.

While she still staring at Ryu, Shinobu introduced herself, she then asked him to put out his hand. Ryu was first confused but still did what you asked for. Shinobu placed her hand on top of his, this caused Ryu to blush even harder. Shinobu let go and told him he could have one. When Ryu opened his hand he realized tht she gave him an piece of candy.

Obito > "Oh shinobu your here, Soma gather everyone we have a new mission."

After Soma rounded up every member they went into the meeting room, where Obito told them about their next mission.

Obito >"Alright this is the new mission, in the East District of the village there is a group of merchants from the Dandelion Trade Association, they are suspected of being spy's send from the Hidden Mist. The the new mission is to infeltrate and search for any intel they have on the village. We will track them when they leave the village and covertly extract the Intel they have and if the Intel is something that could be damaging to the Village we either capture them or kill them off."

Obito >"Ryu how good are you with covert operations. "

Ryu>"Eventhough I can't use the transformation Jutsu or use genjutsu to hide myself under an illusion, when it comes to hiding my presence and tracking I'm pretty sure I won't lose to any gennin or chuunin.

Obito >"Oh so you're that confident are you."

Obito >"This will be the plan, the twins we'll use the transformation ninjutsu to hide themselves among the group as gaurds who we will knock out and their your job will be to figure out what their Intel is. When you do find out leave a message behind on the road.

"The message will be an special leaf, if you leave half of the leaf behind that means that it's nothing serious and we will cause an disturbance to get you out. But if you leave an entire Leaf behind that means that the Intel they have is important to the village, we will the either capture or kill them."

"All right now for the assignments, Shinobu, Kaiki and Ryu will leave the village first and hide somewhere near the road. When the merchant group leaves 30 minutes later, Soma will lead the rest of the squad and follow them. Then after another 30 minutes i will go after you guys leave.

"If we do have to capture them then Soma's team has permision to attack. Shinobu, Kaiki and Ryu are to make sure that when the team under the lead of Soma is busy dealing with the merchant group that no one escapes. The twins are to keep acting as gaurds and keep track of everyone in the group. I will only act if they have an jonin among they're ranks."

After Obito was done explaining, he told them that the mission will start in two day's so they have to get everything ready.

Obito then asked if they have any questions. Ryu was the one who raised his hand and asked.

Ryu >"This is not about the mission but there is something i am not clear about. The thing is even though we are a sqaud is this not to many people."

Obito told him the reason why they have this many people is because they are an sqaud. They are the ones that are responsible for everthing related to their main mission is to stop any outside disturbances from harming The Village and only if there is really a problem that they can't handle will other ninjas be asked to step in, but this is still their mission so they have jurisdiction and because of that they need a group of people.

After Obito was done explaning to Ryu he asked if there were any more questions. Suprisingly Shinji was the one to raise his hand and he asked why Ryu was one of the few who had to make sure that no one escapes. He understood why Shinobu and Kaiki, but he could not understand why Ryu. Obito then explained to him that even though Ryu is 3 years younger than most of them his strength is at the top of gennin level and even surpasses some normal chuunin. That is also if you count the fact that he only uses Taijutsu and no ninjutsu or genjutsu.

After Obito told them this Shinji had no other questions.

[The day of the mission]

Early in the morning an Merchant Caravan was leaving through the doors of the Hidden leaf, half an hour after they left another group of people in Black windbreakers left.

Somewhere in a forest further down the road were tree people. One of them was an beautiful teenage girl with blond hair, green eyes and snowy white skin, the other was an very big teenager with gray hair and gray eyes and a dumb look his face. And the last one seem to be a child with dark brown skin, black hair, black eyes and an above avarage face.

This was Shinobu's team and they were all wearing their black windbreaker uniforms.

Shinobu tried to calm Ryu down by telling him that he should not be to nervous and that this mission might be an easy one sinds they don't realy apprehend anyone important. Ryu told her that if she is wrong they will have to fight, and this might be his first time killing someone.

Shinobu>"Hey what are you talking about kill so early, if the intel they have is important we have to try and capture them first, if they resist too much then you can go for the kill." said Shinobu while laughing.

Kaiki >"Hey guy's be more silent we are suppose to be hiding and i see the Caravan coming."

Both Ryu and Shinobu immediatly became quiet. They saw the Caravan approaching. As the caravan kept getting closer and closer it suddenly sunk in a pool of mud.
