As Imogen walked out of the guild she realized that she didn't have a place to stay.
"I can't leave, I can't stay and I don't want to ask Egor for help." Downcasted Imogen.
"I forgot to give this to you, it's your adventurer pass; it lets you come in and out of town without being charged." Yelled Egor as he tossed a golden badge to Imogen.
"Don't lose it, if you do; then tough luck." Shouted Egor as headed back inside of the guild.
"Why'd he have thrown it so hard, he nearly blew off my head." Complained Imogen as she looked at a woman passing by.
"Yep, I was right, I have small breasts." Realized Imogen while feeling like crying.
"Either that or the woman who just walked by has huge boobs, man are they hu- maybe I should stop looking." Decided Imogen while turning around in shame.
~~~
As Imogen was walking to the gate she got a huge headache, her head just wouldn't stop throbbing.
"Why the fu- I mean why the hell would I get a headache this painful, randomly!" Screamed Imogen, unintentionally out loud.
But strangely enough, there was no one around save for one cloaked man; his voice was almost soothing.
"You want to come with me, you desire it; you lust for it." Proclaimed the man in a creepy fashion.
"I demand you to come with me, to be mine; to please my clients."
*Skill: Negligible Illusion Resistance - blocked a low level illusion skill
"Oh… so I get headaches from illusions now, just great." Mumbled Imogen as she completely ignored the man.
"What!" "How could you know, no one in this world can resist my magic!" Claimed the man while waving his flimsy lantern around.
"By magic you mean, a crap tier skill that was left on the clearance rack; right." Scoffed Imogen, trying to laugh at him.
"Illusion skills are some of the rarest skills you can come by, do you know how much work it took to get this skill." Reputed the man.
"Well if a common slaver got their hands on it, I'd say that it's not hard at all to get." Criticized Imogen.
"I'm not a common slaver, I'm... the head of the Department Of Employment. Lied the man.
"And it took years of living in someone else's shadow to get that book, now I'll teach them how to beg for THEIR worthless little lives." Shrieked the man.
"That's funny, but I don't actually give a crap; I'm going to kill you right now and nobody's going to even notice." Cackled Imogen predatorily.
"Because you're a fricking loser and no one remembers the pile of crap they leave behind." Declared Imogen while starting to get hysterical.
As soon as Imogen said that, she morphed into her true form
"You're not even fucking human, who's the forgotten piece of shit now; bitch." Sneered the man.
"You forgot heartless! Hahahahaha! Hahahahahahaha!" Laughed Imogen feeling like a predator who just found it's true prey.
The man shot a lightning bolt at where Imogen was, but she had already started charging towards him. He fired spell after spell, but to no avail; Imogen had dodged every one of them.
As Imogen neared, he was backed into a wall. Imogen jumped up on top of him, saliva was dripping from her beak. All the man could see before his life ended was the hungry eyes of a predator, the true predator of humankind.
If you were to walk by this area, all you would hear is the echoes of flesh being torn apart; as Imogen ripped the man's body into pieces for any bit of blood that she could have missed.
~~~
"I feel like I've got a hangover, what the hell did I do last night?" Groaned Imogen as she looked around.
"Oh! I remember now." Whispered Imogen.
"I can't believe that happened, I thought I had myself under control." Despaired Imogen, banging her fist into the ground.
"I guess I need to be more careful around humans, who knows when I could go berserk again." Grumbled Imogen.
"Shoot, I need to hurry to the guild; I wouldn't want them to think I'm a slacker." Interjected Imogen.
"Human form, I'm thinking about it; come on change already." Thought Imogen as she slowly shifted into humanoid form again and started running to the guild.

"What the hell are you doing here so early, it's five in the morning for Denairs sake." Exclaimed the receptionist.
"Well I thought that I should get here nice and early to talk to Egor a bit." Blurted Imogen.
"Well I guess you could go see him, he usually isn't too busy in the morning. Compromised the receptionist.
"Could you tell me where he is, I don't know my way around here very well." Inquired Imogen.
"Up the stairs, it's the last door on the left." Sighed the receptionist. "Make sure that you knock, never ever ring the bell; you got that." Checked the receptionist.
"Yes mam, I'll keep that in mind." Assured Imogen, tempted to tell the receptionist to stop clicking her pen.
~~~
As Imogen reached Egor's door she nearly rang the bell, but at the last minute she stopped herself and chose to knock instead.
"Who is it, you better not be that damned relic vender." Threatened Egor.
"Nah, I'm Imogen; or at least I was last time I checked." Joked Imogen.
"Ah! Imogen, what're you doing here so early? Come in and sit down." Offered Egor as he opened the door for Imogen.
"Well I happened to wake up early and I thought that I should use my time wisely by visiting you." Coughed Imogen.
"That's good, a warrior should master the mind before they pick up the sword." Said Egor amused.
"So when does training start?" Asked Imogen as she played with her hair.
"Patience Imogen, a warrior must first have patience to outlast his or her enemies." Replied Egor
"Well in my religion patience is a sin, so could we start now?" Wondered Imogen.
"Well if that's the case, maybe you should look for another religion; because a warrior has to have patience to survive." Countered Egor.
"Training starts at six by the way, so you can stop waiting to say that you're not a warrior." Answered Egor as Imogen shut her mouth.
"What do we do now?" Questioned Imogen as she looked at Egor.
"We wait and don't you dare say that I'm making you sin." Ordered Egor.
"You're assisting me in si-."
"Shut up, I don't want to hear it; lest we wait until six thirty." Interrupted Egor
"I'm good, but I'll have you know that I'm a very religious man- I mean woman." Said Imogen mistakenly.
"You're pushing it Imogen, really pushing it." Threatened Egor.
"Sorry." Apologised Imogen.
~~~
By the time the clock hit six, Imogen was almost completely mentally traumatized.
"What you're doing here should be illegal Egor, this is slavery." Exaggerated Imogen.
"You could've left at any time, in fact you didn't even have to walk into this Building until now." Said Egor as he got up to walk out the door.
"I didn't say you couldn't talk either, you just assumed that; never assume." Taught Egor. "That'll be your second lesson for today." Reminded Egor.
"Second, when did the first one happen?" Asked Imogen confused.
"We just finished it up for today actually, you need to think more; it's important." Scolded Egor.
"I think a lot, I just don't think about the right things." Countered Imogen.
"That's just as bad, if not worse; you need to stay focused or your opponent or you'll inevitably die." Said Egor.
"So are you going to teach me how to use a halberd now?" Anticipated Imogen.
"No, like I said before; a warrior must first master the mind before they can start on the weapon." Explained Egor, crushing Imogen's dreams in the process.
"How am I supposed to hunt for the guild if I don't know how to wield a weapon?" Mumbled Imogen.
"Whatever you were doing before, you're obviously not from around here; so you survived somehow." Stated Egor smugly.
"So what is this lesson about, I might as well accept that you're not going to teach me until I do this." Compromised Imogen.
"We'll be battling it out with our minds in a game of Baseling, words sharpen the mind after all." Said Egor as he showed Imogen how to play.
~~~
"Hah, I'm going to beat you old man; I just put down reprimanded and that'll win me the game." Announced Imogen triumphantly.
"Well actually I win by one point, I'm putting down the phase; never underestimate your opponents." Smirked Egor.
"And that totals up my score to one hundred and eighty three, just one point over your score." Said Egor as he watched Imogen's jaw hit the floor.
"That's impossible, how the hell did you do that!" Shouted Imogen.
"I waited, instead of placing down every word I could; I held on to my trump cards and placed down only what I needed too." Declared Egor.
"You have much to learn and I have much to teach, now to the next lesson." Said Egor as he got up, directing Imogen to follow.
My legs hurt, my mind hurts and your ears hurt because you had to listen to this.
