Master and Disciple

Phelan stood under the open night sky as the wind billowed gently in the surroundings outside the tower. He confronted Diana, who was poised to enact a decision he could not fathom. Her once vibrant blue hair seemed dull even under the faint moonlight, and the cold determination that had come to see in her since he took her into his care all those years ago had changed.

Right now, her demeanor appeared to have been replaced by a somber resignation. Like someone who had given up on living.

"What does killing yourself achieve, Diana?" he questioned, his voice laced with confusion. "If I did not take your message seriously, were you so foolish to commit suicide?"
