Chapter 3: Kiss and tell...

Aura woke up with a strange feeling, she couldn't move then it hit her, all the memories flooding back, Morgan's body entwined with hers, her heart somersaulted, she felt him stir next to her.

'You're awake.' He observed as his hand made way to her face, breathing in her smell, she was so sweet and that only made him want her again, he surrounded her with his power making her feel invincible.

'Yes, and so are you.' She said smiling at him, feeling the surge of energy speed through her body, he rolled her over so she was sprawled all over him, she felt his heart quicken , she kissed him and he played with her hair gently brushing her cheeks, planting little kisses all across her face and neck.

The satisfaction of seeing her face blush was enough to drive him crazy he pulled her head down and kissed her hard, his hands holding her face to his, her laugh as she threw her head back gasping for air made him think he had never felt so lost with a woman and never so whole, his heart beat in time to hers, she kissed him lightly, caressing his face as she rested on top of him 'I feel…I don't know how I feel, it has never happened to me… but we need to think about staying alive….' She told him her voice turning serious; reality had just made its way into their dream world.

Morgan cursed and got up, 'Shower?' he asked, 'Oh yes, a shower most definitely and a cold one too.' She answered as she got up leaving the blood stained sheets in plain view; Morgan was looking at them shocked, 'You were untouched! Why didn't you tell me?' he asked accusingly.

'Would it have mattered? I wanted you, for the first time in my life a man made me feel comfortable about who I am, not only a sorceress, the daughter of a Goddess, but also a woman, you protected me risking your life to do so!' She said looking so forlorn he walked to her and hugged her strongly to him.

'You know this will have consequences, for both of us? I…I had not planned for this to happen, I'm here to protect you, if the Fates don't kill me your mother will!' he said seriously, thinking not only in what Hecate would to him but what would the Fates say when they found he had bedded a Sorceress risking to release the Beast.

The look on his face made Aura want to hide away, she got in the bathroom, turned on the water and immersed herself under it, feeling the water on her spent body was glorious and invigorating, it made her forget, her life was forever changed.

Morgan knocked on the door and came in has she was getting dressed 'You know I'm right and that we will pay the price but let me just say you definitely are worth dying for.' He kissed her not giving her time to talk or breathe her scream muffled in his kiss, he plundered her mouth making her feel dizzy, pushing both of them to the max, he wanted her to know he did not have any regrets 'I love your taste, I could eat you up.' He said as he thrust his tongue into her making her scream, the beast in him gloating with the pleasure 'Faster, oh please, faster!' she begged shamelessly the rhythm making her fall into an abyss of delight, 'I want you! Please this need, it's burning me!' Aura whispered in his ear as she held him tighter to her, trying to calm down the ripples of desire going through her body.

Afterwards all Aura could think of was 'Wow!', Morgan lay asleep in a tangle of sheets, his hard body soft, his face relaxed making him look younger, less dangerous and far yummier, but reality in the form of her mother came knocking and the danger they were in fell around her like a ton of bricks.

'I'm coming Mrs. Ingram, I know Mother is here.' Aura said before Mrs. Ingram had a chance to even knock on her door.

She dressed in a sea green Kimono, embroidered in black, her long hair falling loosely down her back; she looked the picture of elegance as she made her entrance in the living room, Mrs. Ingram already taking care of the normal niceties when she had a visit.

'Mother, how are you?' Aura said stiffly, wishing she felt more comfortable with her mother, but she had always been the rebel, the black sheep, rules were made to be broken had been her motto has she grew up, much to her mother's chagrin.

'Aura, you look different.' Hecate answered, eyeing her daughter with a sardonic smile in place; Aura had always been her favorite, the result of a powerful love, but also her worst nightmare.

'Not really, I hope Cassandra, Calliope and Asia are well?' Aura asked as she sat down in front of her to have some tea. 'Your sisters are fine but they had to stay and protect our world, it is vulnerable to the Shadows, you know that. They are working with those blasted guardians in order to protect the portals, I'm afraid this time there are more of them and all the help we can get might prove not to be enough.' Hecate's tone made her heart skip a beat; she should be out there chasing the evil creature before it gathered enough power to destroy them.

'Surely it can't be that bad.' She mumbled trying to lighten the mood.

'Yes, it is, even the High Guardian, the only one besides you and your sisters that can defeat the Shadow king is after him, last night there was a power peak in Central Park, that can only mean he is here.' She said looking suggestively at Aura.

'About that…' she had no time to finish as Morgan came in the room wearing low-hung tight fitting jeans and a black t-shirt, his black hair loose, he still looked sleepy and he was sexier than ever, Hecate's jaw connected with the floor as Morgan spoke not having noticed she had company.

'Here you are witch, I thought you had left me all alone in bed and gone chasing the Shadow on your own.' He looked at the breakfast table his eyes shining 'I'm starving.' He said as his stomach rumbled, it was then he noticed Hecate, 'Good Morning, excuse my rudeness I hadn't noticed Aura had company, I'm Morgan Wolfhound.' He introduced himself.

'I know exactly who you are and what you are young man, I just hope you told my daughter.' Hecate looked furious at Morgan, controlling her temper not wanting to make a scene.

'Well, actually yes, she does know.' He answered fuming at the older woman; it wasn't as if he made a secret of his powers or that he had a beast trapped in a medallion that had enough power to destroy their world, he just hadn't wanted to alarm Aura.
