Zaria's Pov

When I heard the news, I felt scattered. I did love Noah but how can I be in love with the son of the man that took life away from my father.

The sins of the father should not be washed up on the son. Those were my words but it was better said then done.

They could see the tears clouded in my eyes, and the pain I felt in my chest had me almost falling but I held onto the chair.

I could see Noah's eyes burning through my eyes and all I needed to do was escape from here.

It was important for me to just leave.

At that moment, I dashed for the staircase.

As I ran on them, I could feel the dominance of Noah following me from behind.

"Zaria!"

I rushed into the room and before I could shut the door his fingers got stuck which resulted in the door being slammed on his finger.

In the bit of the moment, came his cry, which brought my feet floated on the death of despair.

All my life, I thought my father had abandoned us, I thought he did not want anything to do with us.
