Chapter 027

Azriel hadn't told me that I also had to meditate before going to the mall in the city. So now, we were on the terrace of his house, sitting on the couch there, surrounded my small plants. His house was beautiful, so beautiful sometimes my heart hurt that this asshole lived in it.

"So, starting today, we'll incorporate meditation into our training, it's a crucial part of connecting with your inner self and unlocking your true potential." He said.

I raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "Meditation? Really? You want me to sit still and do nothing?"

"Not exactly 'doing nothing,' Fiery. It's about finding stillness within yourself and quieting the noise in your mind." He smiled venomously.

I crossed my arms, leaning back against the wall. "Alright, enlighten me. How does one meditate?"

His eyebrows twitched, and I smiled from inside. I really got on his nerves.

Azriel let out a small sigh, clearly trying to maintain his composure. "Fiery, meditation is an ancient practice that has been proven to have numerous benefits for the mind, body, and soul. It helps in reducing stress, improving focus, and fostering inner peace."

I pretended to ponder his words for a moment before raising an eyebrow. "So, what? I just sit cross-legged and chant 'Om' or something?"

"Selene." His eyes darkened, making a shiver go down my spine.

"What?"

"Stop talking back to me and watch your tone." He glared.

"I am just asking-" His glare intensified even more and I shut up, "Fine."

"Well, 'Om' is one of the mantras you can use if it resonates with you, but it's not necessary. The key is to find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and focus on your breath."

I tilted my head to the side, a smirk playing on my lips. "Okay. Do I also need to wear a fancy robe and light scented candles?"

"No robes or candles required, Selene. Just a quiet space and a willingness to explore your inner self." He said through, gritted teeth as he came closer to me, making me instantly regret my decision of not following with his warning. "Do you want me to tap your lips?"

My eyes widened, "No, no, no!" I quickly waved my hands in front of me, trying to backtrack. "Get away from me you creep."

He smirked, "You're lucky I have high tolerance."

I frowned at him.

"Now then let's get started."

"Focus on your breath, Selene," Azriel's voice sounded calm and steady. "Inhale deeply through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth."

I followed his instructions, allowing my breath to become the center of my attention. As I inhaled, I could feel the coolness of the air entering my nostrils, filling my lungs, and as I exhaled, I released any tension or worries that I carried within me.

"Let go of the thoughts that arise," Azriel's voice resonated gently. "Allow them to come and go, like passing clouds in the sky. Return your focus to your breath whenever you find your mind wandering."

I tried to let go of the nagging thoughts that lingered in my mind, the worries and distractions that often consumed me. With each breath, I felt a sense of lightness and a growing stillness within.

But there was still something I hated about myself, well it was almost everything and it made me want to die. I didn't wanna accept some parts of myself and that was troubling in meditation when Azriel spoke, "When you're ready, slowly open your eyes."

I opened my eyes and found myself captivated by the intensity of Azriel's amber gaze. His face was mere inches away from mine, his warm breath brushing against my cheek. Time seemed to stand still as our eyes locked, and the world around us faded into the background.

I held my breath, my heart pounding in my chest. The tension in the air was electrifying, and I found myself leaning in, drawn to him as if by an invisible force.

Before our lips could meet, a soft chime broke the spell, signaling the end of our meditation session. Startled, we both pulled away.

Azriel broke the awkward silence by saying, "Let's go to the mall. Good work today."

"No. I won't use your money to buy things." I said, my face serious.

"Okay, fine." He finally agreed as we walked down the stairs. "Then, work for me."

I nodded, "Yes, I can. Um, I was majoring in business- wait how do you have money? I've never seen you with a job? Can you make money with magic?"

"No, that's forbidden. Because that's too easy. I have to work for it."

I furrowed my eyebrows confusion, "What job? Then, how are you so loaded?"

He smirked, "I am the CEO of 5 companies. All very successful in almost all part of the world."

My mouth fell open, my eyes widened, and I stopped in my tracks.

"You're a billionaire?"

He nodded, chuckling at my reaction.

"Oh my god, I've never seen a billionaire face to face. What are your five companies?" I started walking again, still heavy with shock as we reached my room.

He kept his hand on my collarbones and transformed my night suit, into a very beautiful oversized sunkiss cardigan, blue, comfortable jeggings, and underneath the cardigan was a beautiful white top. He stared at me for a second, his look satisfied, while my eyes sparked at my outfit.

He began as he turned around to go to his room, which was opposite of mine, "BlissfulBloom is the first company that I started, and believe me all of this was actually very hard at first but with the right staff, and my magic. And I'm lucky for having a very efficient staff."

"That spa company? A spa and wellness center that offers a range of holistic treatments, including massages, facials, and meditation classes, promoting relaxation and rejuvenation." I rambled, "Oh my god, I studied about successful entrepreneurs. It was you! You were the one who piqued my interest."

"Azriel Lex, yes I am." He smiled, proudly.

"You are the one every girl is alway screaming about in my class. You're their favourite entrepreneur." I said, my eyes wide. "What about the- oh, don't tell me, I remember. I've studied about you a lot. That's right. I knew I'd seen you somewhere."

"Oh, really?" He sat on the bed as I did.

"Yes, get ready for my rap." I said, smirking, as he made a puzzles face. I started my rambling aka rap, "'ArtisanCrafted'- An online marketplace showcasing unique, handcrafted products from artisans worldwide, connecting them with a global customer base. "ZSR" - A trendy fashion boutique featuring curated collections of clothing, accessories, and lifestyle products for fashion-forward individuals. This company alone makes you a billionaire "ElevateFit" - A fitness studio that offers personalized training programs and classes focused on strength, conditioning, and overall wellness. And it's famous and popular in every fucking part of the world. I can only imagine how much you earn." I took a deep breath, "Last but not least, TechNova Solutions - A technology consulting firm specializing in digital transformation and software development." I finished, taking a deep breath. I turned to look at him, seeing him already staring at me with such adoration that I could not believe and my heart raced.

He leaned closer, his gaze locked with mine. "Your words mean a lot to me as building a company wasn't easy before. I was short on money." His voice had softened, and I could see a hint of vulnerability in his eyes.

"Well, um, I" I could not utter words until he stood up and walked to his closet.

My mouth just fell open when he removed his vest so swiftly, that my cheeks reddened up.

Azriel's physique was nothing short of breathtaking. His chest was chiseled and defined, with well-defined abdominal muscles that hinted at hours of dedicated training. Each muscle seemed to ripple beneath his smooth, glistening skin, accentuated by a healthy, sun-kissed glow that enhanced his overall attractiveness.

His shoulders were broad and powerful, conveying strength and confidence. As my gaze trailed upward, I couldn't help but notice the sculpted lines of his collarbones, leading to a strong, defined jawline that exuded masculinity.

But beyond his physical attributes, there was something magnetic about Azriel. It was the way he carried himself, with an air of self-assuredness mixed with a hint of playfulness. His amber eyes sparkled with mischief, drawing you in and making me hard to look away.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer."

I shut my mouth as he walked closer to me, smirking.

"Do you want to see me strip in front of you, Fiery?"

I stammered, I wanted the ground to swallow me, "N-No! No!" My heart raced, and I could feel the heat radiating from his body. "I definitely don't want that! I-I was just... um." I knew I was blushing profusely. "Hey! Why did you strip you vest in front of me then?!"

"Wanted you to enjoy the view."

"You're so frustrating! I hate you!" I stood up walked to the door when he said, "Your cheeks say something else."

I turned around looked at him up and down, and smirked when I found something to comment to, "You hard-on says something else." I left the room with slam of the door.
