Mimi Fan's Dilemma

Lin Fan's hands immediately began to glow with a silver tint as a metal dragon slowly began to spin around his body. He was surrounded by ten Empyreans that were well above his level, but wouldn't let anyone touch Mimi Fan no matter what the cost.

He had only gotten good at making others suffer because he'd spent so much of his life suffering. He suffered in the Fan Sect, and he suffered as part of the Lightning Wolf pack when he was out hunting. This was nothing more then another obstacle he'd tear apart.

"I'm sorry, but man look like me..." Gale Fan sighed as Tang Fan also stopped in front of Lin Fan. "You guys not from here... I also happy small girl smack idiot boy!"

"I'm going to protect him too..." Zhou Ra sprouted out of the ground like an actual onion, causing Lin Fan some surprise as more and more and more people from the East Continent walked in front of him.

Who really surprised him, however, was Grain Kan as he walked up to Boris Lang, the leader of the Empyrean Champion League and pushed him back. He also didn't want to escalate this further, considering him and Mimi Fan had some ties.

Grain Kan could already see fate strings and was able to tell he had ties with Mimi Fan and didn't want this turning into anything larger then what it had to be.

"Your little brother pushed her, Ind Quin... Take some responsibility for your hot-tempered little brother and step back before I force you back..."

"What about me brat?" The grizzled haired Boris Lang said as he showed back Grain Kan. "You think your Undying Night Organization scares me... Plus, aren't you here to ensure Lin Fan loses? Are you trying to make a mockery of the Empyrean Championship League?"

"Father... I... I can apologize to that idiot..." Mimi Fan said as her lips pouted... "However, he really did push me! Your brother is an idiot! Tell him he deserved to be put in his place!"

"You... you little insolent brat!" Ind Quin looked at his brother as he quivered and pushed himself off the floor. "Once my father hears about what you did, you can consider your future sealed!"

"She's not to be touched! If you touch her, I promise a thousand lives won't be enough for you to reincarnate out of hell!"

"She... she's a student of the Infinity Super Clan..." Gin Ran said as he patted Quin on the shoulder... "Now, normally I'd not intervene, but with someone with ties to my Empyrean District... In exchange for what happened today Lin Fan will give your father a gift..."

"I... I don't believe it? You think a little clan will scare my father? Does the ocean care about a pond?"

"Do you care about your head..." Lin Fan said as he cracked his knuckles... "How about a little bet... If I smash your head in, then you can tell your father... However, if you lose, then you forget Mimi Fan did anything to hurt your brother..."

"I'm not going to fight you..." Ind Ra held up his pristine hands and pulled out a hammer. "However, if you can beat me as a blacksmith, I'll even become your apprentice for three months..."

"Deal..." Lin Fan smiled as he took a sigh of relief and put Mimi Fan on his shoulders... "However, you.."Lin Fan pointed at Boris Lang as his eyes seemed to light afire. "You dare threaten my Little Chicken Wing again and I'll donate your ugly head to a wolf that needs it..."

Lin Fan smiled and walked off as Grain Kan grimaced and also walked away with his hands in his pocket. He looked at Mimi Fan quickly as she laughed and played with Lin Fan. This wasn't going to be an easy tournament for her with all these insane men around that were all under the control of Ind Ra and his little prince brother.

"Excuse me, but father..." Yan Ran walked up to her dad and put her elbow on his shoulder... "Are you really going to let the Quin Family act like that?"

"What am I supposed to do?" Gin Ran sighed and smacked his lips. "If your Lin Fan wins this competition, then I can see about talking to the Quin Family, however, as of right now your future is more important...."

"You care about me father?"

"I adore you..." Gin Ran smiled and tried to turn away before Yan Ran pulled her other arm from her back. A sweet odor followed afterwards as Gin Ran's back crawled with a cold sensation. The food that smelled the best was usually the most deadly! He should've never left her alone in a bedroom with exotic and poisoned ingredients!

"Good," Yan Ran replied as she looked at Yan Ran... "Well, since you aren't going to do anything to protect Lin Fan, then it looks like you can try my soup first..."

"Your cooking level has definitely increased..." Gin Ran started to turn pale as a spoon went towards his mouth... "However, I won't change my mind...Not even if... if I have to eat your wonderful cooking!"

"Say ahhh..." Yan Ran pushed the spoon into her fathers mouth as he turned purple immediately from anticipation. He instantly felt sick as the spoon went in his mouth, but was surprised to find that the food hadn't yet killed him...

"For Lin Fan father, I learned to read instructions... You should let me stay with him, or maybe next time I'll go back to my old ways..."

"Yan Ran... This is great..." Gin Ran laughed merrily as he took another spoonful as a few of the Empyrean Youth Members stared at his daughter with desirous gazes. "I... I always knew you'd get better someday! I mean... I'm not... not..."

Gin Ran's stomach started rumbling as Yan Ran walked off with a smile. She just had to give this food to Lin Fan before the first match started! However, for some reason, he'd decided to get on the stage ten minutes early!
