Chapter 256: Someone Is Living Here

"Father, where are we going to stay for tonight?" Bai Tingfeng asked.

"Your mother brought a home not far from here. However, I think we need to do some cleaning to stay there. It will be night soon. For tonight, let's stay in the inn first before going here. We will go over there tomorrow morning." Bai Xiang said. 

"Sure." The two children nodded. 

So, as for the night, they all stayed at the inn. 

The next day, after breakfast, they walked to the house that Bai Xiang mentioned. They had arrived at the house. They were about to open the gate. However, the gate had been opened from inside.

Both parties had a surprised look on their faces. Bai Xiang looked at the person who was inside. He had no recollection of this person. 

"What do you want?" The person asked

The person who opened the gate was a woman. From her clothes, she could be assumed to be a maid. She seemed not to know them.
