I was very surprised when he closed his eyes briefly and then he opened them again.

His intense gaze was fixed on me for some time and I could not hold it anymore.

"Is everything alright?" I found myself asking him.

"Yes everything is alright. Why won't everything be alright?" He asked me.

I was quiet and just watching him. He was acting really strange.

"I see you have made the acquaintance of Roy." He said to me after he cleared his throat.

"I have. He is a very nice person." I said.

But Alpha Aztec snorted at my statement to my greatest surprise and he seemed to have said something under his breath which I did not hear correctly.

"I beg your pardon?" I said to him and then he turned to me.

"I just said. You can't know that he is nice, surely you just met him a few minutes ago" he said. "Or is it because he got you a drink? Anyone can get you a drink."
