A visit to the new home

(RHEA'S POV)

My visit home was refreshing and strange. I still couldn't get over my step mother's behavior towards me. When I was leaving, she pulled me in for a hug and said.

"Goodbye my child."

It was strange but somehow pleasant. It felt good to be wanted. It felt good to see myself as family.

My spirits were feeling lifted and so I did not want to go back to the mansion straight.

"Do you know the home for the young ones? The orphanage?" I asked Alana as I was about to step in to the carriage.

"Yes I do, Miss." Alana answered.

"The new one. I heard there is a new location for the home in the heart of the pack." I told her

She looked uncertainly at me.

"I'm not sure. But I know that the guards will know. Do you want to be taken there?" She asked me politely.

"Yes please." I said.

"Okay." Alana said and she went on to pass the message before getting in to the carriage with me.
