Melissa's emotions, at this moment, were slightly complicated.
She looked up at the man in front of her. Their eyes met, and there was an inexplicable feeling in Melissa's mind.
"Thank you." Melissa took the cat.
The cat's body was stained with Murray's blood. The originally white fur turned dark red in some places.
The moment Melissa took the cat, Murray chuckled.
"Are you still angry?" Murray pulled Melissa into his arms, "Everything I said to you yesterday was true. Can you believe me?"
Melissa smiled.
"Let go of me first," Melissa said as she gently pushed Murray away.
"You smiled. Does that mean you are not angry anymore?" Murray asked.
"Does it matter if I am angry or not?" Melissa gently stroked the fluffy cat.
"It's very important," Murray looked at Melissa and replied.
Melissa did not say anything.
After a moment of silence, Murray asked, "What happened in the bathroom just now?"
