In an instant, all the clan elders could accept Kiera's presence as Kellen's daughter and most importantly, as the clan's protector. After the sacred ceremony was carried out, there was not the slightest doubt in their hearts to accept Kiera as Kellen's replacement. Now, they feel at ease facing the forces of darkness that can come at any time.

"What do you think our power will be able to deal with them? After seeing the disturbance they had last night, it seems their strength will be far greater than what was unleashed last night?" Gerrard, the elder of the Fire Clan asked while looking at Kiera and Kellen alternately.

At that time, they were still in the forbidden area of the Dark Gate. No one knows the exact moment when darkness will completely swallow the sun. If according to the calculations learned from generation to generation, that day should be when the darkness has their highest power. But, since the first sun appeared that morning, nature has been so radiant as if all bad things would not have been possible to come.

Meanwhile, hearing Gerrard's question, Kiera looked at her father and teacher, waiting for their words.

"You feel something, Princess?" Kellen asked as he turned and looked at Kiera. He could feel the anxiety his daughter was trying to cover up. Kellen realized, however, that Kiera was still a young girl who had just left her teenage years.

But Kellen was sure too, even though she and everyone else around were older and probably more experienced than Kiera, except for Keannan of course. However, his daughter was the only person who could most sense the changes taking place around them at that time.

"Yes, Father, that's what I want to tell you now. Something so heavy is surrounding us. Do we still have the rock that holds the core of the clan's power?"

Hearing Kiera's question, everyone in the place looked at each other in dismay.

"What do you mean? Do we have to double up on the protection around the gate of darkness? Are they that strong?" Madame Militsa's voice contained thick anxiety.

They actually already realized, the darkness that came this time was not ordinary darkness. However, it is a combined force that has a span of about once every two centuries, more precisely about once every 195 years. With nearly two centuries of time, it is likely that the dark forces that will come this time are definitely bigger than the usual dark forces.

"Yes, we need it now, to increase each of your defenses. I think they will come today." Kiera answered.

Immediately after hearing Kiera's answer, each of the clan elders took out the clan's core power that they stored in their stone forms, to use that power as protection. Kiera herself started preparing to protect them with the power of the sun and moon that she had mastered.

Meanwhile, as Aaegon, Kellen, Adam, and Keannan along with the clan elders, helped place the rocks in the places Kiera had directed them to, they noticed the temperature of the air around them dropping rapidly.

Kiera's body naturally perceives changes in her surroundings and immediately responds spontaneously too. Slowly, a bluish light came out of Kiera's body, who was not far from Adam at that time.

"Part, guard each pillar! Others, complete the lockup with corestones and keep the four directions aligned with the pillars! Don't leave your places no matter what!" Kiera screamed when she felt a tremendous force hit her body, causing Kiera to slightly shift from where she stood.

"Kieraaa!"

Panicking, Adam screamed Kiera's name when he saw the girl sway slightly, being hit by a large invisible force. Kiera fell to her knees with half her feet sinking into the floor.
