Test after test

I entered the academy and soon find my classes door and stop in front of it, hesitating to open it. After all I am in different to the previous inhabitant in terms of personality as the other was more effeminate in actions due to the older girls in the orphanage.

"Sod that fucker, he would've died if I hadn't come and in a gruesome manner at that. He should be glad I took his place, now let's enter and pass this test!" I grumbled out and decisively entered the class and paused momentarily.

My heart sped up ever so slightly seeing the once 2D characters on a screen and excitement of a fan boy rose but as quick as it came I squashed it down and continued to my seat at the back of the class next to Shikamaru, who may just be the one to oust me if I'm not careful or don't have a reason.

I sat down on my seat as I greet the Nara with a nod and a wave to the big boned Akimichi snacking on a packet of crisps like a hamster stuffing its cheeks.

"So Shikamaru how did your training go? Get put through the wringer?" I asked the Nara, wondering if there might be any changes as you could never know if a Nara isn't lazy but an Inazuka is.

"Haaah... it was a drag. Had to get up at 7 and be drilled until my mom was satisfied. It was hell." Shikamaru recounted with a shudder and a trace of horror on his face, guess being woken up early for training all day was something a Nara despises I guess? Though it was nice to know he still hasn't changed much from canon.

"I'm curious though Rin, how was yours?" The Nara curiously inquired after recovering from his shuddering state. "It went quite well actually, managed to improve my chakra control and became a leaf monster as well as being able to be proficient with most of the jutsus and techniques we were taught."

After I answered his question he just looked at me as if I had another head. "Who are you and what have you done with Rin?" He suddenly questioned me with a serious glint in his eyes but I shrugged it off and answered him.

"An invader from planet Krypton... Who else but me Rin the one that helped you when you were lost in the streets and baw.." I was cut off when my mouth was covered by an embarrassed Shikamaru.

"Okay it is you and shut up about that!" The Nara whisper shouted at me.

"Sure, but I'm surprised, you never moved as fast as that eh?" I teasingly asked the Nara who just huffed and turned away.

"Anyway, how come you did all that in the two weeks? You were never the active one." The Nara asked so I gave him the answer, after all what I will say will have some merit.

"Well I was out shopping for groceries when I encountered this old lady, who after we talked and helped each other in the store, told me about how she was a retired kunoichi and told me about the dangers it came with like r*pe and such for interrogation or torture or pleasure which made me rethink about why I am here and only doubled my will and determination to be a ninja despite my feminine appearance and pushed myself beyond plus ultra." Passionately bullshit flew out of my pretty mouth with relative ease as words flowed smoothly with one another like a graceful ballerina in a garbage dump.

Nonetheless, no matter how smart the Nara is I have countless years ahead of him in experience and lying and so he easily bought it and looked at me in pity and rested his head, not commenting.

Though as soon as he did a blonde sun bursted in being as loud as the sun is bright, waking up the Nara from his nap and glaring at the hyper blonde before resting his head with a soundless 'troublesome'.

"Hey Rin, Shika, Choji! How do you think you'll do on the test? I know I will pass as I will be hokage." The blonde bounded towards us yelled out to us and started blabbering on so I greeted him. "Well I know that I will do well but I don't know about the other two since one slacks off all day and the other eats constantly. Though it's good to see you again Naruto after these two weeks, sorry we couldn't hang out but I needed to train so I hope you could forgive me."

Naruto just grins wider after hearing me "no problem Rin! But you and I are going to icharakus!" As he declares I could feel a cold glare giving me a chill, I look towards the originator and spot the once sweet and shy heiress of the Hyuugas now turned confident and bold glaring at me with hate.

I don't know how she became like this but it must have something to do with my presence when she realised that I 'threatened' taking Naruto for myself.

Unfortunately my past self tried to reason her but she didn't listen and became more and more yandere like and I don't want to piss of the murderous yandere.

At least she has become much more stronger than before and could be sasukes match if they fought.

*Crash*

Before I could even answer the door was blasted open and a banshee's cry could be heard along with a high pitched shout having a 'blast everyone's ear drums contest'.

After a minute of struggling to get through the door the banshee in human form won and sat next to a brooding emo cheering and cooing next to him with the blonde left dejected and trodden up to us and sat next to Naruto, who is in font of us.

Then Iruka Sensei entered the classroom and just stared at the door before looking around to find the culprit, though paused when he stared at Naruto since he never comes early or on time, before sweeping over everyone else and just places the door next the wall.

"Right, everyone! Today is the day where your results will allow you to be a genin or a civilian. Don't be worried with not passing though, you will have two more tries to pass but if you don't then you will never be a shinobi and can only find a job. Now I will hand these papers to the people on the bottom row and pass it up to the students at the back....Done? Good now BEGIN!!"

As soon as Iruka sensei finished I flipped the papers and started it. After an hour I finished and went through it again twice and was I was done the test was over.

"Put your pencils on the table, the test is over! Pass your papers down the same way as before and I will take them...right class lunch has started so beat it."

After lunch we returned to class and started to be called one after the other until my name was called on.

I got up and entered the room next to our class and saw Mizuki and Iruka sitting down, one with a regretful face that went away when he saw me and the other with a happy face that went away as it stared at me with disgust that I was used to.

"Rin could you please perform the clone jutsu for me please." Iruka asks me. I made the hand seal and poured my chakra into it and *poof* two me's appeared and poked each other and *poof* disappeared in smoke.

"Congratulations Rin! Here's your headband and don't forget your roots." Iruka congratulated me with happiness in his tone and ushered me out and called for the next student.

After everything was done we were allowed to leave though I saw Naruto on the swings looking lost and depressed. I had to stop myself and walked away knowing what will happen, though I hid in the shrubs to keep an eye on him and watched canon happening in-front of me though I didn't follow after Naruto stole the scroll. I left and went to my house and slept waiting for tomorrow.

I woke up and got dressed and headed out after eating to the academy and got to class on time, greeting my friends and waited for Iruka to come up with the jounin sensei's and called out people's names for teams.

"Team 1 has Izuku, Bakugou and Momo. Their jounin sensei is Aizawa.

Team 2 has Gon, Killua and Hisoka. Their sensei is Biscuit.

Team 3 has Rias, Issei and Sona. Their sensei is Vali

.......

Team 7 has Sasuke, Naruto and Rin. Their sensei is....Kakashi."

W-wait what! I.. how, why.... hah, I should've expected that to be honest, Sakura isn't there to be the 'glue' that keeps the two reincarnations together since on doesn't has a crush on her and considering that me and Naruto are best buds that monkey must have put us on the same team so Naruto doesn't go rogue or something.

Now I have to wait for an hour I guess. I'll practice shortening my hand seals then.

{Two hours later}

Naruto joined me in training and made some significant progress in forming hand seals and in taijutsu while the emo just sulked in his corner.

As me and Naruto wrapped up our new sensei walked in with his porn mag out and looked at us.

"My name is Kakashi Hatake my likes are none of your business as well as my dislikes and my dreams are profound and beyond your understanding. Now introduce yourselves like I did." The silver haired man nonchalantly pointed to sasuke who then talked about killing his brother, like yandere much? He just blabbers on about how he would like to kill him, would hate to not kill him and dreams of killing him. Sheesh, I feel sorry Itachi.

Naruto went on about being hokage and ramen and how he will make ramen a staple food to have for all three meals. He may just make the land of fire the land of ramen if he were to be hokage.

Next was me and following the other two I went on a tirade on about how I will be the most feared shinobi and how I will do it. They were pale. Though I laughed it off and said just kidding and that I just want peace. That relaxed them, though Kakashi was a bit suspicious but carried on talking.

"You three are not yet genin.." """What!""" All three of us shouted with shocked expressions, though mine was fake, and Kakashi just ignored us.

"As I said, you are not genin yet but have to take another test that will decide if you will be one for real or not and dependent on how you do, you may be able to take it again, provided you pass another year at the academy. But if I decide you are not worth it you will never be a shinobi."Kakashi said seriously as he looked at us one by one slowly.

None of us protested after hearing him and promised ourselves to not fail.

As if hearing our thoughts he nodded "good, you will need that determination, now the test I will give you is to take these bell of me tomorrow before sunset at training grounds 13. Meet me there at seven in the morning. You better not eat breakfast otherwise you will throw up."

Kakashi showed us two bells after he finished talking and immediately left via shunshin leaving an angry Naruto and a calm emo duckbutt.

I calmed Naruto by flicking his ear and he turned towards me with a pitiful gaze.

"What did you do that for?" Naruto whines. "Eat breakfast at mine tomorrow morning." I told him. "Eh! But sensei told us not to have breakfast!"

"I know but I have a feeling he will be later than usual and we will be hungry by the time we arrive and we won't have enough energy to go on of. That goes to you too Sasuke, I want a strong teammate at his peak that can help and not one that can't do anything and be helpless to do anything." I say to Sasuke hoping I can rule him up to eat as well as hint about teaming up.

"Hn"

As expected of an Uchiha, just grunts at anything. "Alright Rin I'll be at your house tomorrow then!" And with that both left, one to sulk and the other to prank and terrorise.

Time to go home then I guess. I head home, getting groceries on the way due to the blondes appetite, and prepare kunai and shuriken in their respective pouches and eat my dinner and go to bed soon after.
